PlugRush vs Juicy Ads
 

Decided to run a little test, well actually I have been using Juicy Ads for a month or so now, this was mostly a test for PlugRush. But I think this is a fair comparison.

I bought a few 1 week ads from Juicy Ads on the 7th, used a nice thumb I picked out, Juicy Ads you do not pay for an amount of clicks, you pay for a time period and hope your image is nice enough to grab a high amount of clicks, nothing wrong with that at all, and I sent this traffic straight to one of seemygf's tours. I ended up getting:
Spent about $12, 2596 uniques in 7 days, 21 "form clicks", 0 sales

Signed up to PlugRush, talked to I think Paul from seemygf and asked what thumbs work the best for them, created a campaign with one of the top thumbs he gave me, with PlugRush you are paying per click, I decided to go with tier1+2 mix of paysite traffic, which costs a bit more, but I'm sending it to a paysite tour so that's what I bought, here is how this ended up:
Spent $30 (plus $1 for PayPal tax), 2393 uniques over 1 day (you can set how fast you want to receive what you pay for), 14 "form clicks", 0 sales

So I spent almost $13/k from PlugRush and only 14 visitors went through to the join page, spent about $4.50/k on Juicy Ads and got more uniques and more clicks through to the join page. Not really satisfied with PlugRush especially considering the high premium I spent on the traffic.

I didn't really expect any sales from either so that's not a big let down there. But the flexibility of Juicy Ads and the way I can change my ad image at any time if I feel I'm not getting the amount of clicks I could be, along with the other ways you can really control what traffic you're getting, vs PlugRush where you fill in some plugs and wait to be approved and can't change them after your campaign has started (AFAIK), it's pretty clear where the value is at.

Hope I didn't hurt anyones feelings, just an honest comparison, oh yeah, SEE SIG.

Somewhat, but if I spent the same amount of time in it as I do Juicy Ads, I'm sure I would know my way around pretty well.

When bidding on the pay per click price it wanted me to spend $19/k for even less traffic, so I cut it down a bit so I could at least get a couple k out of my 30 bucks. For these prices I would expect some REALLY quality traffic, too bad I didn't send this stuff through Analytics to see the page views, time on site, bounce rates, etc.. Juicy Ads Analytics stats beat any kind of traffic I can get besides search engine traffic, which it almost matches.

PlugRush's are nearly the same as Juicy Ads 190x140's. And are placed on most sites in the same 4x2 type grid patterns. Actually I prefer Juicy Ads style because sometimes the ads fit nicely into the persons layout and don't just look like they're part of the list of thumbs on the page. But they both can and usually look similiar..? I agree Juicy Ads look more like "ads", but if the person knows it's an ad and still clicks it then I guess they really want to see whats on the other side, as opposed to people clicking the "plugs" expecting to see what the other thumbs on the page show.

@fris: I have to agree with him, since it's not same type of traffic, and basically plugrush traffic comes from tube sites, mostly with full videos, so you can't expect much from that type of traffic

Order made but bear in mind that my traffic is best for feeding free sites that promote sites like yours, not directly to them. Also this page of yours could be optimized really easy to get good results from skimmed traffic.

Did you really expect a sale from a $12 traffic buy? I remember back in the day I was buying $35 in traffic from ravo, sent str8 to a paysite and got two sales, but those days are long gone.

I guess we'll see, you do get a hell of a lot more traffic for your $$ though.

Well I told him right up front my traffic is best for free sites not paysites but you never know till you try. People come to me all the time asking if my traffic will work on thier site. I avoid telling people yes or no. There is no way to know with any traffic source until you try it. I make sites everyday and never know how they will perform until i feed them a good amount of traffic. I learned years ago that a site you think will do good may do terrible and vica versa. The only way to know is test with traffic.

Plugrush is better for feeder traffic and juicyads is good for paysite ads. Thats my opinion.

No I'm saying you get almost double the amount of traffic for your $$ WITH Choker, almost triple what PlugRush sent. Although you can get lucky with Juicy Ads sometimes and get a hell of a deal and a lot of clicks with good ads, but in this case it was $4.50/k with Juicy Ads and it is $4.00/k with Choker and I will post the ccbill stats once Choker's premium traffic is done going through.

I have gotten $1/k ad spots on Juicy Ads but it is all shitty china/turkey/etc traffic, sometimes can get some decent US/Canada/Germany/France/Italy traffic for $0.003-$0.007 a click which is $3/k-$7/k

Premium skimmed is $4 per k and premium popunders is $3 per k

erm so your test concluding absolutely nothing and was on a very small scale, far to small to pick up on any averages or draw any conclusions. Spend $500 with each and then come back

You very well might have a point, but would you rather pay $500 for 38k of traffic (there's no arguing that, it's the price per k) or $500 for ~125k that is probably better. Either way it's extremely likely I wouldn't be coming anywhere close to making my money back, which would make it feeder traffic, very expensive feeder traffic on PlugRush's end.

I'll admit I could have recorded a bit more stats and/or made sure I was sending the traffic to/from the right places, but I really didn't buy the stuff planning to come here and post a comparison, I was just testing out PlugRush because I was told Juicy Ads and PlugRush were one of the few places worth buying traffic from, but I wasn't really impressed with PlugRush's delivery and I think even the dumbest buys from Juicy Ads would still rival them.

eh fuck, I turned on a max productivity limit and it got auto disabled I reset it and its sending again, sorry about that. Your traffic is so productive it made my trade script think your are cheating. Won't happen again it should build back up real fast

Nice, I have a feeling you aren't lying. Is that a campaign or directly buying ads? If it's direct, are you buying high cost-per-click quality stuff or trying to get as much traffic as you can for cheap?

I don't lie. It's run of network ads.

Tip for you, unless you're just buying traffic to make up numbers, only ever buy tier 1 traffic.

A reminder: all traffic was sent to seemygf's tour and certain sources may have performed better/worse being sent to a different niche. But there it is. Not a huge test but if anyone was just curious then here's at least some data. Since there were no sales you would probably consider this to just be feeder traffic, in which Choker clearly sent the most traffic for your :2 cents:

Pretty inconclusive. My traffic is best sent to a free site for filtering before sending on to a sponsor. It seems from what a lot of people post that Juicy adds can work with certain paysites really good. Plugrush well I don't know, I resepct anyone that comes up with a new and unique outside the box idea so my hat is off to them, whether the traffic they send is worth the money they charge I simply don't know.

often this is traffick thats been purchased before.

the bulk (99%) I presume or looking for free porn, and simply clicked on the link expecting to see free porn but finding a link to a site they did not want.

they ideal traffick is searched out traffick, ie, from google and other search engines as they may be more likly to buy.

Well if anyone wants to give me $500 worth of traffic for free, Ill give your ad/traffic networks a test run and leave a more definitive review

Plugrush sends me the highest productivity traffic I've ever bought, but then I use it to feed my freesites... Don't think I'd ever try sending directly to a sponsor.

traffic that costs $4 per k and is 100% productive on your site and traffic that is $12 per k and is 300% productive on your site cost the same. Google would be the most productive traffic on my sites but costs versus productivity it's simply not worth it. If it were I would have 1000 adwords campaigns going right now.
