Enough is enough.
Read this before you buy something from them, you may change your mind.

When you purchase content from AdultFilmStarContent you may get:
1. Not what you have paid for.
2. Not HD content or extremely low bitrate encoding.
3. No matching photos for video sets when you purchase both
4. No IDs/2257 docs for these scenes.
5. ?Support? from a former porn star that doesn?t understand the basics of content encoding, lies to you and can?t do anything.

So here is the story:

We purchased 250 HD videos with matching photos from them. First order was placed on March 15th (Invoice No: 156) for 100HD videos with matching photosets. Second order was for 150HD videos with matching photosets was placed April 16th.
For the first order we received a hard drive with 100 files. Most of them were definitely not HD at all. For the ?matching photos? we were given about 250 folders with pics with non-matching titles. For a couple of weeks I was trying to get a clue how to find matching photos from AFSC support Kelly ( ICQ 583968101 ) .After all she told me that she does not know how to use FTP and she cannot upload missing photo sets and an excel spreadsheet. A few weeks after we got an excel spreadsheet that helped us to find some (yes, only some) matching photo sets. For the rest, we had to find them ourselves. As for not exactly HD quality Kelly, a former porn star btw, told us ?it is HD?. Its really hard to argue with a former porn star.

Second hard drive we got had another 100 ?hd? files, but 25 were the same as in the first order. So in fact we got 75 new files. No spreadsheet or information on how to find matching sets. On May 11th Kelly told me they shipped a new drive with 75 missing scenes & matching photos. For the next 3 weeks I was trying to get a fedex tracking code from her?. No replies, she was too busy I guess. On June 4th I talked to Joseph (same UIN) and he told me that nothing had been sent yet (surprise, surprise!). We talked about 30 mins, I explained the situation again, told him ids of video sets that we already have and that we?re missing another 75 HD videos with matching photos. He told me that new drive will be sent out in the next couple of days. On June 11th we received the 3rd hard drive with 247 MOV files. Some are about 100mb in size with nothing but BEEP for 15 seconds. Some are non-edited MOVs with 'behind thescene' voices and stuff. No matching photos. No IDs/2257 docs for these scenes. Scenes are broken into multiple files (so we have like 10 files from one scene).
Once again I contacted Kelly and told her we still haven?t received what we paid for. She told me Ryan will contact me shortly. No one did.

I have requested money back for those missing scenes (50% of the second order) a couple of times, they refuse to refund.

Well, this just goes to show that you simply can't please everyone all of the time.

For the record, you just asked me for a partial refund yesterday, not last month or last week.... but yesterday morning - less than 24 hours ago. You then said you didn't want to talk to me and that you preferred to speak to Ryan. So I passed your info to Ryan and he's processing you a partial refund. Sorry you're not happy.

If I had been promised HD videos with matching sets of images to include ID's/2257 docs and did not get them , I would not be very happy either.

Sorry about your problems. I bought from them during the same period, got a harddrive full of the content in a timely manner, everything was there and accounted for. For the price, unbeatable. Would not hesitate to do business with them again.

We try to make sure everyone is happy, unfortunately sometimes that's just impossible.

In the end, he will receive his refund, as he only requested it yesterday. It's just a shame that some people attempt to use these bulletin boards as a means of trying to bully and intimidate, like it's gonna help their cause, in the case of a company like ours it doesn't help their cause or intimidate us because of people like you.... Fortunately, we've shipped close to 600 orders and 99% of which have gone to people just like you who have NO complaints and are very happy. The 1% of people that are not happy, we deal with them swiftly. It's unfortunate that things like this happen, but they do and theirs nothing you can do.

That is incorrect. I requested refund twice.
First time on April, 30 (see my previous post). You told me you will not refund.

To all guys saying AFSC is doing great job, I would like to say that I really hate this situation and I would rather not post this. But its been almost 2 months already and I have contacted AFSC support millions of times... dont want to go all over this again.
Btw, have you tried to purchase HD videos with matching photos? Did you like the HD quality? I've recently saw one more post on GFY complaining about AFSC HD quality.

I think they are very helpful and when I did have a problem it got sorted out ASAP even though she was heading out the door to go on a family outing. Not to mention, I still have their hard drive (that I did not buy) and have had no complains from them to hurry up and return it. As for matching the photos and videos, I did it myself in no time. The content is named (by number) I just looked on the website for the photos, found the matching video name and paired them up. =\ For the price we pay, and the good content, that is something I just cannot see paying for.




FYI: The hard drive will be in the mail soon ;)

However that doesn't minimize the fact that they are HD. You simply can't stretch 640x480 to 1920x1080. To compensate for the lower quality HD, you can see why we've sold these scenes in packages for as low as $5.00 per scene.

All of our HD scenes shot in 2009 and 2010 are 100% perfect HD using today's technology of camera direct to hard drive and that's reflected in the price.

As said on ICQ yesterday, and now repeated on GFY today... you're not happy, and you don't like me personally cuz I'm a woman so prefer to deal with Ryan, so we'll issue you a 50% refund as requested.

HD is HD. It is not 2005HD or 2006HD or new 2009 HD.
If you encode it as 640*480 with low bitrate and then back to 1920*1080, that is not HD.
