Daizzzy informed us that in order to have NATS programs listed on his website we were required to purchase an ad from him. We agreed to do so for $150 per month and paid him for the first month. A bad business practice on his part in my opinion, but for $150 we figured whatever.

After the first month was up he sent us another invoice and ICQ'd us to indicate that since we couldn't pay him via epassporte (the first payment was sent via check & cashed) we would be required to pay him for several months in advance. I was out of town on a personal vacation when he made this new demand. When I returned a couple of days later (and only a couple of days after the invoice was sent) I found that he had pulled the advertisement from his site.

I informed him that if he did not want the ad there (as he had pulled it) that was fine, to discontinue the ad. We had paid for a month and he had the ad there for a month.

So he ICQ's me that he was "ridiculously treated" and that "let's see how it'll result" and he decides to post here how NATS is not a trust worthy solution for the industy.

Its funny how someone thinks you're the greatest thing in the world for $150, but when he's not being paid has nothing but bad things to say about you.

This guy is surrounded by drama & accusations and what he did here amounts to nothing short of extortion in my mind.

I would HIGHLY recommend not having any business dealings with him.

Not sure how you didn't see this coming when he would only do business with you after you bought an ad.

Daizzzy is a shit stain. Good to see him outed. He was already caught giving out members passwords a while ago and everyone let it slide.

Well, he tried to extort us about a year ago. Only after we caught him and his buddy in the states trying to scam us in a big way. The guy is a complete dirt bag.

Thats how he made a name for himself. I also know certain competitors of ours slid him a little cash on the side to make certain statements as well...but thats how it goes.

Yet we have a ridiculously large market share. Must not be that many people.

Gotta admit I'm kinda confused. I don't think much of signbucksdaily and I don't really know anybody who has been in this business for a long time who even cares about it. I suppose it's a nice place for a new-ish webmaster to find programs to promote...I'm old school though and promote SITES that make my dick hard. I sign up to whatever program promotes that kind of site. These "review" sites of affiliate programs are kinda weird to me.

But to each his own... the thing that confused me was this: Why would TMM give a shit what signbucksdaily promotes or doesn't promote? The whole site just looks like a way to get webmasters to sign up under him for referral money. Or am I missing something?

And if brother pulls all NATS programs...isn't he cutting his own income? The whole thing is just weird to me. Just an observation. Not attacking daizzy. It's just that that whole business model seems kinda bottom of the food chain to me.

No, that's a bottom feeder (catfish). I meant bottom of the food chain, as in webmaster referral money. Yeah, some people got lucky in the past and snagged one of the few whales that existed. In this day of pornhub and bit torrent sites with all the traffic...I'd say that is a trick that is EXTREMELY difficult to pull off today.

there are some sites like whopaidme.com that provide a good service with no bs that i am happy to send referral income to.

with daizzy i just edit out his affiliate code.

I'm sorry to say that, but paying the money just to be listed in one of 1000's of sponsor catalogs (not even for a banner spot or something like this) is above of dumbness. Nothing personal John, but you got what you have paid for.

Again, no offense daizzzy. I just don't see that the site has much reason for existence other than to make a few pennies trying to get webmaster referral. Nothing wrong with that, but I don't see where the real estate on your site has value to others. Sorry.

The issue wasn't the value (tho it was shit). The issue is his motives/business practices/etc.

Just because there are 1000s of sponsor directories exist doesn't mean that they are all not worth having an ad on. I agree with you tho that in this case, we got exactly what we paid for. There are certainly some other ones we have considered having ads on in the past and are still considering. The issue in this case wasn't so much the site type as who the owner is.

I'm sure you'd say your sponsor catalog is worth advertising on even tho it's just one of 1000's.

Also, the cost included a banner spot, it wasn't only for inclusion.
