Photoshop Candy Look
What brush, style or something are designers using to get the girls to look like candy on the gf paysite tours?
Example: http://j.imagehost.org/0933/gf.jpg |

essentially, you're smoothing/blurring skin, boosting saturation, adding skin highlights, dodge tool to whiten the eyes, same to the eyes Portraiture is the way to go if you're not a Photoshop wizard. |
I add some blur manually.. but those look a bit exagerated for my taste.

These photographs do not even capture a second in time. They are absolutely still photographs with no movement. Is that impossible? No, not at all. Good luck, BIGTYMER.

Duplicate the content layer
Smart blur the duplicate Lower opacity of the blurred duplicate to somewhere around 40% Add an adjustment layer and tweak the curves on both with clipping masks. Should take all of 4 seconds to accomplish. :2 cents: |

I would have never asked the question you just did. :thumbsup |

WOW :thumbsup |
Cool effect.
But why are designers glamming up GF sites? Doesn't make any sense. |

Cake walk... cept its not curves Amp, its saturation and highlites...
|
I have a 2 step process for this effect... my own lil recipe, haha

Depends on how good the content is to begin with too. Some need extra adjustment, some don't. |

I wasn't advising, just telling him how to do it. |

i dunno what the hell you guys are talking about...
the whole overblurred, high saturation, ducklipped pose is ENTIRELY true to the teenage myspace attention whore look. this new exgf niche ISN'T just your old amateur niche with a new name... :2 cents: |

I could be wrong. |

But I think glamming up gf sites is more about webmasters not understanding the point of self shot sites as opposed to them tapping into the fact that emo is working it's way more mainstream. |

Where do you see a lot of the exgf traffic flow, surprise again, jailbait type boards. The EXGF niche is just an innovative way to convert what i like to think of as "creepy old bastard" traffic. There's a reason why you see the bright colorful myspace-ish pics in all the banners and tours. Because that's the traffic flow they are targeting. If that's what they're going for they're nailing it. I got quite a few younger chicks on my facebook. Buddies little sisters, cousin and whatnot. And the pics they post, bang on with this shit. overblurred, weird color effects and filters. stupid poetry typed over them. That's just what they do. :2 cents: |

PortraitProfessionalStudio - it is stand-alno program and works perfect for portrait shots
Portraiture plug-In for Photoshop is kinda best for quick skin retouching and gives good results same like on your example |

The two girls on the right have a sharpen on the pictures and the skin softened back after the sharpen. Sharpening makes the hair pixelate like it is.
|
open file in PS
duplicate layer filter --> blur --> gaussian blur --> 3.0-5.0 overlay that layer, then lower the opacity to where you like it simple basic way :thumbsup |

I've held back from judging the OP pic because I don't know if it's a screencap or a hotlink or what's been done to it. |

But that's beside the point. You did get the effect you were looking for, yes? |
If the image reduction did it, it would have done it equally to the entire photo... :)
The girls with the sharpen have more depth, that's how you achieve that look. It's not done to the girls to the left because her hair is black. |
That looks like total shit. :2 cents:
It reminds me of when someone first figures out HTML and finds a free resource for cheesy animated gifs. Or all those stupid "Thanks for the ad" images on MySpace. Oh snap, you mean I can blur skin with photoshop? Look out! If you need to clean up an image, the idea is not to make it look like it's fake. This plastic shit is over the top and kills my wood. Your surfers will not care much for this either as it defeats the entire purpose of the word "amateur." However, this also explains why there are so many threads about people's sales sucking. No clue about the market they are selling in. |
