Hysterical fuss on the radio earlier to the point where I was expecting a repeat of Pompei. It's now gone from gloomy outside to bright sunshine. Bit of a let down.

It really is weird here today though. We live on both the London City Airport and Heathrow Airport flight paths. It is so quiet out there tonight.

www.flightradar24.com but the site is getting a lot of traffic at the moment and doesn't always load.

I don't know their criteria for having flights on there so I don't know how accurate it is.

That is costing each airline 5 to 10 million in loss per day....
Each country has many airlines, look at how many countries have no planes in the air the last 48 hours....
Boy that sums up quite a loss here.

Rentalcars are now hard to get and if you find any, they go for 1K per day....

Dutch news says, they are afraid the second volcano in Iceland is going to erupt too and that one is bigger then the current one that is erupting.
