Haven't heard any news of a crash over here. Nothing on the BBC I can see.

There are the odd few flights in the UK but only on a case by case basis.

Been quite a lot of tiddly little planes here the last couple of days but nothing I would consider passenger carrying.

My friends are due to fly to the States form Heathrow tomorrow. Looks like it isn't going to happen.

They might be able to Sarah - there is a phased reintroduction of airspace from 22:00 tonight. And they are not alone. According to Reuters, there are 40k fellow Americans stranded here...

Friend of mine just arrived by bus.. from alicante, spain... 3763km in a rotten bus without a toilet... so much for a nice 3 day vacation lol :)

They were told to go to Heathrow this morning so it looks like they may make it.

It looks like it's clearing up a bit.. hopefully things will get back to normal by next week
