A rep from Zombaio introduced himself to the board.

Questions came at him fast and furious!

He cherry-picked a few of them, half answered a couple of them, and totally ignored some as well.

It got REALLY ugly, for numerous pages, while Zombaio still owned the skin.

Eventually the rep just stopped posting, but the drama and insults just kept going.

A few people continued fighting each other within the thread... it was pretty rough!

Guess it had to go....

This thread will be deleted as well...

Now i want cliffnotes too, because i had lots of advise to join them and get my processing done by them, anyone whos against it speak up now.

This has to be the third time Zombaio has come around GFY.....I think there MIGHT some ulterior motives to that company but I really put a finger on what it is....

If I ever stopped processing with CCBill, I would go with Verotel before I would choose somebody like Zombaio....

you had some (obviously) low-level employee answering good questions in a very condescending, half-assed, full of misspellings way, kimmy kim was asking them questions and he was pretty much calling her an idiot, while he ignored or dodged the questions/points she brought up about how they can process in canada, what a HR-isps is, etc

he told kk she didnt know anything about credit card processing rules lol

very embarrassing thread for them, i dont doubt they would want it gone

If I held that solely against almost any company in adult. I would not do business with 95% of them.

The vast majority have had some support issue, rogue employee, hacked, crash, meltdown, or major fuck up at some point in their time in this business.

If I went by that remark alone, and made my decisions based on GFY lore. There would only be one choice. CCBill.

I have used them before. Same as I have used others. I will use my own experiences to make decisions on best for the short and long term goals of my business. I come from a pay site owner side and have used a number of processors over the years.

That said, I reiterate what I said. Almost every hosting, program, processor, whatever has had an issue at one time or another since being in business. So you can keep the hype going on this all you like.

But the facts remain that if people judged every company in adult on a single incident, or that logic, 95% would be out of business. Almost every company has dropped the ball, or had some issue at some point.

I use Zombaio. All my 2009 sites have launched with them. I like them. No complaints.

I also still use CCB, and Verotel.

Actually that thread was old if I was posting in it, they've come around here a couple of times and skinned the board, but they can never actually answer any questions about how they are PCI compliant, within the card association regulations, etc...

One would think that after this many tries, they would know what the questions are going to be and they would have at least gotten the right answers to post, whether its the way they do business or not.

The thread that is linked here is from a dude that did not know anything. Later a valid representative came and answered pretty much all the questions

I don't know if they will survive or not but I remember alot of webmasters screaming from the hills that Vertrol wouldn't stand a chance with the way they had there biz set up... I took a chance and processed with them and have alot of money since 2003 with them and they are still going strong!!!!

Yep. That is the typical GFY board bullshit.

What's worse is that, usually, they are people who are not even program, or pay site owners. So they barely have a clue. Yet they are screaming about processors while still running transactions through ePass, and PP.

epass is only 5 or 6 years old and paypal hasn't done adult in quite a while.

EPASS has had a FUCKING TON of bad publicity over those 5-6 years. As has PP. Yet people still use them, and prefer them.

So the fact Zombaio (among countless others) has had a few bad threads, and making a business decision or better yet, whatif assumptions, based on that is simply ridiculous.

But you see it did not happen with other processors. It happened with them. That cost many people thousands to hundreds of thousands of dollars overnight. They were not to keen on working with people either over the problem.

Many have also dropped them from personal to business levels. People have lost untold sums of cash to them and fraud issues by users. That is apples and oranges though as they do not process for our sites, nor are responsible for rebills and holds.

Yes paypal has had issues, they left adult which was not really fucking anyone out of anything but some time and well OK people may have lost rebills. Not sure how the rebills played out with them since by the time I was adding them to a paysite they pulled out so they were only live on content sites for me. Never lost a penny.
I have had disputes with them, had account locked more than once. Never have I had them take my money though. Plus I have always followed their TOS for the most part. One time I made a mistake and the other party turned us both in. Paypal still reinstated my account with very little hassle and mind you I broke their rules.

I am not hating on the big Z. Hell I would love more solid billers. We can have our doubts still and not be either haters or idiots.
