How many times have you fired people just because they piss you off?

How many times have you fired people just because they piss you off? Assuming their work is okay, you just hate how they are constantly questioning you, or have a shitty attitude in general?

Or are the gossip hub with your other employees in the workplace?

I have to be honest I think i've fired people more often on these grounds than professionally. :2 cents:

going through with something like that right now. Sometimes they are such a source of aggravation that its really not worth keeping them around even though I hate retraining new ppl.

mmcfadden 10-08-2009 05:34 PM

that's great... are you hiring?

see sig nig

I have fired many.

Both in my own company, as well as when I worked in corporate America.

Normally they pissed me off in addition to their personalities. While you can fire people for no reason in right to work states, it is in your best interest to have additional motivations.

For example they do not do their work as instructed, cheat on time sheets, whatever. You basically build up enough documentation so when you fire them, it is like a court case. Otherwise you are setting yourself up for a law suit.

Most of what you said is not falling into the just pissing me off.
So pissing me off - almost never.
Questioning me? - depends on their job duty. I do not always hire yes men. Now if you mean like a designer trying to question me about non design shit, yes I would.
Shitty attitude - for damn sure. I do not want people around me or working with or for me with a shitty attitude.
Gossip - again never. Er OK once I fired someone when I found out they were talking shit behind my back about me.

Well, if you're hiring hit me up.

I'm in NYC so I have the law stacked against me. LOL So all I do is fire and re-hire myself, several times a day.

i have never fired anyone - that's very difficult because of laws over here anyways. but i have made several people put in their resignation volunteerily

EscortBiz 10-08-2009 06:41 PM

to me its all about if they do what i hired them for or not, i dont care what political team they are on or who they fuck, its all about if they do their job in a timely fashion, not easy to find good people and to let one go because he annoys me with shit unrelated to his work would be stupid

asianseekerz 10-08-2009 08:55 PM

well that was a normal attitude for most employee now a days
