I talked with a bodybuilder who has a killer 8 pack. he's always eating strawberries and cherries. And sometimes grapefruits, apples, and bananas.
He said cherries are better for you than blueberries. he also snacks on almonds, chobani yogurt, raw pumpkin seeds and sometimes cottage cheese bleh! |

Googled and this is the first recipe I came across: http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1613...249199,00.html |
I'd say persimmons :2 cents:
|
Mango is underrated, probably because there's an extremely small window when its good. When a Mango is ripe, there's nothing better. I'll eat that fucker like a goddamn slobbering savage, and I don't care who sees me do it.

Apples. They have 7 times more antioxidants in them than green tea, and more than any other fruit.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Too true. Fuji Apples are the best imho. http://www.oneadaysuperfood.com.au/a...nt_powerhouse/ |
cocksssssssss
|
blackberries with vanilla sauce and ice cream is a favourite here
|
Anyfruit, but it has to be home grown and ripened on the vine. Grapes are an example, you have never really eaten then til you have pinched a bunch off someones vine on a hot summers day and popped them one by one.

We have blackberry vines that run the entire length of our backyard fence down here. Been growing there since before i was born... So many grow its impossible to pick them all, I freeze bags of them and eat them all year round.

ha..I was totally coming in here to say blackberries.
We just picked a ton of wild ones and stuck them in the freezer. I then defrost a bit every week to go on my morning cereal. Good stuff. |

blackberries, when in season
and when in season, nothing better than a good strawberry...such a difference in taste between strawberries in season and greenhouse grown strawberries... |
Peppers are berries too, but not too fruity. Wild berries are great. Can't go wrong with a banana either.

Guavas are delicious and hard to find in Canada.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guava Figs are also fantastic with cheese but they are expensive and usually only sold at fancy food markets. They used to grow like weeds back home in South Africa, so I hate paying $10 for 3 figs. And gooseberries are my favourite berry:) |
kiwi and mango suck

We use to have fresh blackberries that grew in the woods right behind us. We use to pick them for months and freeze them. Made the best blackberry cobbler.
Was always hard to not eat all of them when you were picking them! : ) |
