I loved the 1st one as well as my 3 y/o son..I will NOT take him to see this long ass crapfest ( robot humping Megan fox's leg and getting off) is too stupid. The Jive talking Robots is a modern day "Stepin Fetchit" the word, "Jigaboo" comes to mind.. very embarassing shit.

3rd act was too long ..drawn out.

You arguments seem valid but they did it for the big crowd :upsidedow.Gonna see it in the near future,I'm sure it's way better than other movies.

I saw it midnight last night. I liked it for what it was. Its a shitload of serious special affects and and serious money spent to tell a story. Story was OK, but the special effects were pretty nuts!!



That kind of stuff needs to be seen in IMAX or The Dome in Hollywood. I saw it at the Dome.

I went to go see it last night. It was literally like someone was fucking my eyes and ears for 3 hours. And not the good type of fucking....border line rape.

I could drive semi's through the plot holes...and there are numerous. Michael Bay must think his audience is full of fucking retards. Constantly trying to distract us from the fact that the story was shit and didn't make sense.

Every time Megan Fox and that blonde chic was on screen I was embarrassed. I'm all for hot chics but there was something eerily creepy about the slow mo's and pans Bay used everytime the camera showed either of these two.

Every minority character was represented with gross stereotypes (including those 2 fucking stupid pointless robots) and that made me literally cringe. I couldn't believe people were laughing at that shit.

Youre better off putting a bunch of Transformers and Hot Wheels action figures in a Vitamix 5000 with your favorite rock album on then paying for this piece of shit of a movie.

I could keep going ....but then again...I knew exactly what I was getting...little story and shit blowing up....and I still walked out of there disgusted.

Take the movie for what it is... an action fantasy flick based on a cartoon/toy series from the 80's not a literary masterpiece from the renaissance era. The movie is supposed to have a shitty plot and be heavy on the special effects. It's not supposed to inspire your life or whatever.

It was a bit long and slow, but I quite enjoyed it for what it is. Lots of action and some eye candy.

Haven't seen it yet. But most everyone seems to be saying the same thing you are.

Haven't heard one person say it was flat out good even as an entertaining action movie.

No plot or plot that makes no sense for the sole purpose of bringing back every character from the first movie.

Forget the plot. Forget the acting depth. I'm going to see it for the crazy effects, explosions and to watch Megan Fox bounce around in a skimpy outfit.

I can afford the $ and will line Michael Bay's and Steven Spielberg's pockets willingly.

When I want to watch a movie with depth, I will do so.

I liked it and it was about what i expected. I really got a kick out of that huge robot at the end. I had that one when i was a kid.lol

I read the bad reviews, and I defended them saying it's supposed to be a fun action movie with minimal plot.

Then I saw it.

I don't get why they had to create such a complicated plot with all new characters and mythology. I would have been happier with something basic and simple like the first movie (which I liked a lot). This one had too much corny humor, too many stupid characters, and wasted too much time on scenes that didn't contribute anything.

LOL... You were waiting in line to see the midnight show... so don't tell us that you hated it. Just because your girlfriend was too embarrassed to give you a hand job in the theater doesn't mean you can hate on a movie that you liked so much you couldn't even concentrate of getting a hard on for her. :2 cents:

And he's right. Just look at the amount of people who thought the first Transformers film was a "great movie".

There is one thing Michael Bay does well, and one thing only: action scenes.

Not sure what ppl expected. It's basically a carbon copy of the first transformers. A+ action + unfunny humor + unnecessary length of movie. The first movie was a "C" grade calibre movie. This one is the same. I figured as much before watching it.

I will watch and than will give you a comment about is good or not

See TRANSFORMERS in IMAX: Why?

Just like The Dark Knight, some scenes of this movie were actually shot in the native Imax format, with Imax Cameras, and / or rendered in the IMAX format in Imax resolution.

If you see the Imax version of this movie, these scenes will jump right out at you. They are INCREDIBLE! They are so sharp and detailed. And you actually see the format of the movie change from Widescreen (2.35:1) to a more "square" 1.44:1, without changing the width. Suddenly the image is several stories taller, and so are the robots.

During these fight scenes the image format changes from wide to imax to wide, but it doesn't seem to matter at all thanks to some pretty cool directing and editing.

Yes of course the story is weak and some robots are so-cute-you'll-barf, but keep in mind this movie was made for kids too. In my opinion, the movie makers balanced the cutsey with some good adult jokes (Mom takes drugs, John Tutoro's S7 thong plus others..

It's really worth seeing in Imax.

They are making transformers to appeal to pre-teens/teens....which basically means a lame story line, stupid dialogue, terrible choices of actors (well, 'cept for megan for visual appeal), etc etc.

In other words, you already know what to expect.

You go to this movie for the cgi, nothing more.

Of coz the movie and plot make no sense.....there can't be robots from outer space to begin with.....

Just got back from the movies and I loved it.
Sure all the above comments are valid.
Too many stupid characters
Corny jokes
Weird plot and so on.

But that's not why I went to see it.
I went to see an action packed movie where robots kick each others asses and shit gets blown up like there ain't no tomorrow.
This movie I speak off is based on toys from the 80's.

It delivered. It was spectacular.

I'll say it again..it was offensive and it sucked a pair of those Giant ROBOT BALLS swinging at the end of the movie...c'mon guys, u know that was some stupid shit

My problem with the movie is that it was not based on toys from the 80s.

$200 mil in US box office in just 5 days. Stands a chance of passing Dark Knight for #2 all time.

It seems like one of those movies where everyone will tell you its crap/they didn't like it but you still have to go see it anyway.
