Of course there are plot holes, enjoy it for what it is. Like there are really giant transforming robots ... its a bloody scifi fictional story for crying out loud. As long as you don't over-think it and just enjoy the ride its a great movie.

I thought it sucked as well. Come to think of it I deserved it though. I was expecting a decent story line and dialogue. Instead I got 2 1/2 hours of 8 million different robots talking random jibberish about all sparks, cubes and primes. I think we should have all seen that coming? :small-smi
