Hehe!. Im actually amazed. Sometimes I put in a ticket and before I even get a chance to check to see if they are done, and am amazed things are done that quickly. Gave them a list of at least 8 things to do the other day and was done in less than 3 mins. lol I checked my email and saw they had sent an email and figured they needed some info, but it was done already. lol :1orglaugh

Because in the time it takes you to open the ticket page up, type up what you want done, hit send, and they read it, even if it is in 3.5 minutes, you could have had it setup yourself..

I'm all for great hosts and those response times look nice, but it could burn a company out quickly having to do EVERY little thing, such as creating a database for 1 of your 30 new blogs you create daily... for example...

Took less than 1 minute to get it setup, quicker than what I could do it myself anyways. lol With fully managed I don't think you even have the option to do it yourself, but I could be wrong. I do all the db adding via phpmyadmin.

natnet is not bad, that is for sure

They take pride in doing every little thing for their customers. Most people don't know how to do jack without a control panel, natnet knows that so they are happy to do everything for you. Hell most people don't know how to do jack with a control panel either.

hmm what's so special here? my web host support answers me within 1-10 seconds on icq 24/7... maybe i have had to wait like 20 seconds some times but it was a long time ago...

The thing i like most, is they are more proactive than most hosts. You often don't even need to discover a problem, they are already onto it. The number of times we have had an issue with hotlinking or db overload that is our fault and by the time we notice it they are already working on the issue. Thats what you pay for... and its worth every cent.

I've been with a few hosts in my time and I recently made the switch to Nat Nat and I am more than impressed. Like the screen shots in here, tickets are dealt with in minutes. Longest I ever had to wait on a response is 4 minutes and it was just some bullshit request that wasn't important.

I've been at NatNet for 10 years as of this past Feb, and it's been like this since day one. Not much chance of them "burning out" I think.

Any host CAN do that, most don't, and most don't do it with the consistency that Nat net does. I have yet to have any ticket not taken care of in under 5 minutes, and some I have sent are fairly complicated. Im a pain in the ass for a host as it is lol.

Sure they can if they answer the ticket that fast and do that stuff for you. But guess what most web host don't. Most web host have control panels and they'd tell you to do it all.

If you want to talk about impressive... Natnet moved all my sites 50+ with scripts in 24 hours, how I wanted them sorted too. I've been with other host that are suppose to have awesome support and one took nearly a week to move my sites before, I only had about twenty then. Another took over a week so I said fuck it, I'll do it then.

Natnet installs anything you want, they've fixed my scripts that had problems very quickly. They installed ffmpeg, ioncube loader, yamdi, mencoder with h.263 mp3lame,lavc,lavf - h.264 x264,faac - vp6 flv, mp3lame,vfw,lavf all enabled in a "very short" amount of time. Along with a bunch of other stuff. The only thing that stumbled them was mp4box but they installed it before I could reply with the info for it.

My old web host had managed hosting and wanted $75 for them to install ffmpeg. I just did it myself back then but fuck why bother when nat net will do it for you? Not to mention their techs could do it quicker than I could. With my old host I'd been lucky to have it done within a day if they did it. With natnet? Done within minutes and no charge.

I've said on numerous occasions that we are NOT the host for everybody. There are certain people who prefer to do things themselves and there's nothing wrong with that, but as well, there's NOTHING wrong with people NOT wanting to do these things either.

If you prefer to focus on your business and making money as opposed to doing a bunch of technical stuff, then you need to be hosting with us.

We've been doing it this way for 10 years and given our size, growth path AND reputation, we must be doing something right... :thumbsup

That's the main reason I'm glad I'm hosting at natnet. I found myself constantly screwing with technical stuff, if you care about your server you can't just set it up and not pay attention. Security must be setup right, software has to be updated, if there's problems it has to be fixed, if there's a security issue good luck sorting it out. The list goes on and on. It's too much bullshit unless that's what you want to spend your time doing and I don't.

Oh man, I'm not trying to come off as an ass, I think it's great that a host actually takes the time to do everything to make their customer happy, I just don't like that type of host... haha

Personally, you guys would NOT be someone I'd go with for the whole fact that sometimes, I could sit in my control panel, adding sites, email accounts, databases etc, and completely delete everything all within a day... I'd go crazy having to send 30 tickets a day just to test stuff out and tinker with things.
