You want to change what police do? Talk about their bosses! In the end, YOU elect the lawmakers that decide what laws they want the police to enforce, and how they want them to enforce them, be it on the local, state, or national level.

The people you should be ranting about are the people that you elected and even pressured to created the laws and police procedures (that the police MUST enforce and adhere to!), in the first place!

If there was no constant pressure on criminals and gangs there would be nothing stopping them from coming into your neighborhood and taking whatever they want. Your car, your house, your life. If you think law enforcement stops at speeding or traffic tickets you are a complete and utter fucking moron.

Law Enforcement runs the gambit from Wall Street, to the Business World, Burglary, Homicide, right on down to your street level crimes. Their enforcement of public laws is about 10% of what they do and that is what most "normal" citizens are exposed to and if you are doing what the fuck you are supposed to you won't have a problem. I am almost 40 and have had 2 tickets and maybe 4 run ins with the police, all of which were handled in professional manners by said police.

Yeah, lets get rid of all that so society can completely break down, who needs a monetary system, which yes... also happens to be enforced by law.

I must have just met the exception. I got pulled over about an hour ago out on a country road,going a bit to fast in my Lambo and he didn't give me a ticket! Told me to watch my speed and have a good day. Which I did and plan on. :)

here is an example, in calgary during the playoffs we have a street of all bars called "the red mile", last night before i left the area there was over 10 cop vans parked in a single block.

now lasttime we had our run to the finals this street got ridiculously packed but there was no violence, everyone was happy and for once calgary had something the people could all agree on.

but now the cops shut it down and have ruined the feel of the city. there is major gang wars going on here but instead of cracking down on real problems like coke heads and dealers they are out monitoring some drunk hockey fans and stopping the fun.
