My new Mercedes exploded tonight while I was at best buy. Here are the photos from my iphone. I was inside when it happened, so I didn't see what exactly happened. From what people said, I missed a show.

I come running out and yelled "what tha fuck". Didn't think to take photos until much later. Fire trucks came, they cleared out best buy, you can see how wet the ground is from the fire hose.

wouldnt say for sure but that looks like a turbo or super charger blew. doesnt appear to be a car bomb or anything like that...they are generally placed to cause fuel ignition.

probably no damage to the passenger compartment.

That is really damn impressive - to have blown the hood open and not off, while not touching the side panels, front grill etc. Seriously fucked up though - MB are gonna wann take a really close look at that, and methinks they'll be treating you really nice!

the motor blew up out the top and the windshield is still intact? the front end is still perfect? nothing caught fire? there's no soot, no mess/damage from the fire department.

where's the link to the news story? certainly if a car blows up in a best buy parking lot, the store is evacuated, etc, the news would be ALL over it. just like the car in memphis that actually did blow up recently
