The Debate... The OFFICIAL comment thread
Just figured I'd try to keep it all in one post, istead of starting 300 new posts. LOL
Ok, so Obama wants to put broadband into rural areas!!! PEOPLE! Do you see how much more revenue that can bring us? :winkwink::thumbsup |
'I'm not that left, I just vote against crazy Bush'

Love how McCain starts his point by saying the important thing was knowing how to get out and then says nothing in his bit about getting out.
|

Obama actually coming off as being tougher in regards to Pakistan.
Its fun to pretend that It makes a major difference who wins. Sometimes I forget its just like pro wrestling. |
McCain looked irritated and sluggish talking about the economy. He came to life during the talk about Iraq which is exactly why I don't like him. His main focus is on Iraq and winning there, he sees everything else as a distraction.

Look at Japan, they have cells on almost every building. I got a god damn dead zone in my own fucking house! :( If we boost our broadband it could really mean a lot of advances in business and in general. Information is power. Empower people in rural areas and some of them will emerge as new leaders. Well, let's be honest, 99% of them will just use their new broadband to watch a guy get kicked in the nuts on youtube and hopefully buy up all our porn.. BUT STILL!!! It's a good thing. :) |

Here we go... more emo bullshit from McCain. "a solider gave me a bracelet" (get a room)
Obama's counter was strong. |

McCain was for the war in Iraq that have so far cost $600 billion dollars and have no end in sight. Obama was against the war.
Who would have been the best president at that time? ^^ |

We don't want another holocaust with Iran? Please explain that to me. Just because they take the moronic stance that there was no holocaust doesn't mean they are going to carry out another one.
|
It's like McCain thinks we can still save the world....

All I can think of as I am watching this is if McCain wins and dies, that crazy woman will be President.
I agree with whoever posted it above....McCain only got animated and came to life when he started talking war. |
McCain just sounded like one of the Tom's from Office Space.
"Samir Naga...naga... not gonna work here anymore anyways" |

DID McBrain just make a racial sterotype during the debate? North Koreans are shorter than South Koreans?
Look.. we all know blacks have bigger dicks. We all know Mexicans are lazy. We all know Mexicans are taking all our jobs.. Oh wait.... |

Was it a poor attempt at a joke when McCain was talking about bear dna? I thought he said something about not knowing if it was for paternity or criminal.

At that moment I was editing and only half heard it. See how rumors can start. :thumbsup |
This was an interesting comment I stole from some site the other day:
"If you spend 3 years as a community organizer growing your organization from a staff of 1 to 13 and your budget from $70,000 to $400,000, then become the first black President of the Harvard Law Review, create a voter registration drive that registers 150,000 new African American voters, spend 12 years as a Constitutional Law professor, then spend nearly 8 more years as a State Senator representing a district with over 750,000 people, becoming chairman of the state Senate's Health and Human Services committee, then spend nearly 4 years in the United States Senate representing a state of nearly 13 million people, sponsoring 131 bills and serving on the Foreign Affairs, Environment and Public Works and Veteran's Affairs committees, you are woefully inexperienced. If you spend 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, then spend 20 months as the governor of a state with 650,000 people, then you've got the most executive experience of any" :2 cents: |
We have every right to expect Russia to behave like a country that respects international boundaries and law ....says a man okay with rolling into middle eastern countries.
