"Offshore drilling is very important" -McCain
I urge everyone to go do their own research on the validity of that statement. |
the day right after 9/11 was probably as safe as it gets for americans...everything was on high alert
mccain just said that he thinks americans are safer now, is he smoking rocks? |

Best Comment of the debate...
Being a guy that traveled a lot around the world... "America as lost is respect with the rest of the planet." You guys need a president that can get it back :thumbsup |

None of this matters though. There are more JaneBs in this world who vote based on a bracelet gimmick than actual policies.

Let The Youtube Orgy Begin!!!!
Ohh shit I need to switch from CNN to BBC!!!! |
You guys notice how most of the time Obama is saying what "he" will do when he's asked a question. McCain on the other hand doesn't ever say what "he will" do but rather talks about Obama.
IMO Obama clearly controlled this debate IMO. |

nice sappy play at the end you old fart. i love them and i will take care of them.
fuck off. |
:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh
GEEZZUS MCCAIN HAD TO BRING UP P.O.W. AS THE LAST THING..How did I know he would do that.. hahahahaha |
In regards to veterans McCain said "I love them and I'll take care of them."
I must admit its so evil because it works. I'm glad the emo garbage works on women so I can still get laid, but when it comes to politics it scares me. |

I hate the whole wives coming on stage afterwards thing. What businessman has his wife come on stage after a big sales pitch? Just looks lame.

People are going to see through a lot of both of their statements. I felt Obama didn't get to the point on some questions, and on the Russia issue I almost felt uneasy.
But McCain lost me on the "We won't talk to anyone" theory which he did NOT rebut later on. |
im a veteran and i personally did not appreciate the sappy troop play at the end. it offended me actually as a veteran. once you serve in the military see how loved you feel when youre out there in the middle of no where fighting for something that you shouldn't be for reasons you shouldn't be.

after watching the debate you can clearly see that Mcain will be another four more years of Bush type policies. you can see he wasn't very interested in talking about economics of our country (or anything else for that matter), but when Iraq and the war was brought up he certainly became interested and started blabbing his mouth. this is exactly what got our economy and the downfall of the US into where we are right now with Bush. Bush ignored everything else going on in the US while his focus was on the war.
Obama's answers at least showed he was looking at running the country while taking into account how his policies would effect the nation as a whole which included the economy, international policies, national security, etc...., and not just focused and that bullshit war. Obama for President!!!!!!! |

They both HAVE to do that. In fact if one of them had a couple kids come up too, it would have been a potential swaying point for a lot of Catholics. |

They both did good, Obama won, pretty much without question. Just because McCain had the upper had in a couple of subjects doesn't mean much when he drops the ball on the economy, iraq and afgan.
What he should have said about Russia was, it isn't our problem. But he did say "if they meat the Nato requirements" which they can't, so they won't get backing of the U.S. |

The sad part is he doesn't need the support of real veterans like you guys. He just needs to convince middle America he "loves" you more than Obama. |

our troops are only good to this country when they are fighting... once they come back, they are forgotten.. i am sick and tired of these politicians going to safe zones in iraq or afghanistan with a ton of security and then act like they are some heroes for going there... fuck off.... you want to impress me, go into the war zone for 24 hours and see what the troops see day in and day out and then come back and tell me we need to stay in iraq for another 5 years... |
