Got a new affiliate, the guy is sending joins to us like fucking mad. So I write him and ask him what the fuck is going on. He tells me to google up claudia-marie. So I did. The guy has his link code as the number one spot on Google for claudia-marie Fucking incredible. He is making sales like crazy with that. Guy is smart as shit too. He told me that "somehow" Google has indexed his link code as the number one result for the keyword claudia-marie :winkwink:

Save yourself some affiliate payouts and get your own keyword. Add some text to http://www.claudia-marie.com/

Working on that as we speak. The little fucking tricks to try and get all that text in the graphics aren't paying off at all. I'm hoping to have it redesigned by the end of the week to enable me to move all that text I write from the graphic to just plain out text on the page. Then I'll be jumping it up.

but on another note, I know if I owned the domain claudia-marie.com I would put a join form for claudia-marie.com at join.claudia-marie.com, and I would also set the title and meta to at least have the words "claudia-marie" in them

You know what? That is an excellent observation and one that I didn't even think about. The soloslutcash page was just a default page for 404 on that server. Great idea. I'm gonna get on that tomorrow too.

LOL. I posted this thread to kinda brag about how smart my affiliate was. I was already working on a new design to move my graphic text (which I write myself) to "real" text for SEO before I noticed my new affiliate kicking ass. I have no intentions on fucking anybody over. Where you guys get that idiotic thought I don't know.

But then again, I don't even know who the hell CunningStunt, nnweb, or ReakAGV are. None of you have any visible indication of being a webmaster at all. So thanks for your opinions. But your negativity is WAY off base. Thanks for the fake and NEGATIVE drama in what was a pretty upbeat and positive post.

I am glad for you but if I had a top affiliate I would expect them to be pissed off with me if I just came on a webmaster board and pointed everybody to their site.

I didn't point anybody to "their" site Sarah. I have no idea what you are talking about there. I merely said that the affiliate was a kick ass SEO guy and had managed to make his join link code for Claudia-Marie the number one result for a google search of her.

It seems very hard for you to comprehend this but sometimes, you gotta know when to STFU.....This is one of those times....When it comes to affiliates and sales in general, there are times when you don't "brag", even if it's on another person....

You know, most programs used to "brag" about their affiliates. When Joggs and I were neck and neck to win a TRex from Porn Access...they posted it huge all over their network. (joggs beat me damn it) And when I won a motorcycle from Lightspeed a few years ago that was not only "bragged" about by Lightspeed, but they posted pics up of me with the bike.

Those were just a couple of things that I did through doing a ton of sales as an affiliate. And I didn't get mad or anything about them revealing anything at all about me. Why would I? I got nothing to hide. I have my own sites and I send good traffic. No mystery.

But if it's all of a sudden become a fucking bad thing to say when an affiliate is doing a great job...You know what? That's bullshit.

This particular affiliate had done a GREAT job and is fucking smart as hell. And yes I am trying to get the best Google ranking for my site that I can...especially on the actual name of the site. Any of you that think differently are simply wrong.

But I drew the line right where you asked him how he was making so many sales, and are now putting a plan in place to SEO him out of top spot so you can get his sales yourself - that's low - you have any idea how much negative press your going to get when he finds out what you did? If this guy is as smart as you make him out to be, he'll figure it out the minute his joins drop.. because as I have had #1 SERPs - it is SIGNIFICANT to be Number 1 and drop to Number 2 - I think the "I'm feeling Lucky" button is a lot more powerful than people give credit for.

Anyways, i'm glad you came out with this information, because it tells me never to promote you or any site you run.

Why you bother having an affiliate program with that attitude is beyond me.

There is a BIG difference between bragging about an affiliate and posting his exact technique along with aff id. I do alot of mainstream stuff and one of the questions I always ask my affiliate managers is what the top affiliates are doing. IF he shows me specifics ..... No fucking way am I sending him traffic.

Based on what I just saw, I could replicate what he did and take that number one spot from him in a matter of days.

If you can get it by the google reviewers you could ppc the term in a matter of hours. It helps knowing that it's a profitable keyword at the one spot as a generic serp.

Yeah, i wasnt talking ppc.... I was talking about organic SEO.

We all know Robbie didn't mean any harm by it. His trying to improve the ranking in the SERPs in no way shape or form is dishonest or bad business.

I met Robbie and Claudia Marie,he struck me as a very honest upfront look you straight in the eye type of man.He gets very excited over this business,I picked that up from talking to him and I can see him coming on to brag about an affiliates success.So I dont see him fucking anyone over.

Are you sure it wasn't just a coincidence? I've heard of random affiliate IDs getting indexed in Google - they're all so similar that Google has to choose one to display...

if the sponsor fixes the obvious problems with his own homepage then this wouldn't happen

If anyone deserves the top spot for their own keyword it would be the main site owners as far as I see it. The affiliate currently in that place will not like it sure. But it's not like he's going to completely removed from google and make no more sales.
