That's an understatement. :disgust

Yeah I tried it. Business partner has bottles and bottles of it around. He used to work for Pfizer here in town. I can't say it did anything for me. Mine's a allergy and sinus combo more than just allergies.

He swears by it however.

it worked for me before but for some reason this year it didnt work.So I changed to alervert and it works well.It also doesnt put me to sleep.

Miss Munki 05-30-2008 09:59 PM

Zyrtec-D and Claritin-D work well for me, no sleepies:thumbsup

peedy 05-30-2008 11:42 PM

I use Claritin the most, and have used Alevert. Happy with both of those....recently saw Zyrtec but haven't tried it. Anyone know how it differs from Claritin?

Jace 05-31-2008 01:07 AM

i used claritin for years and it stopped working, switched to zyrtec a while ago and it seem to be doing ok, allegra was the one that ALWAYS worked for me though, need to get back on that shit

Great med! Piggyback it with bennidrill.

LilBro 05-31-2008 06:39 AM

bro.. thats cuz u live in on the ISLAND.. LawnGisland... make a move into the city and i guarantee you'll fart more than you sneeze.....

camgirlshide 05-31-2008 06:41 AM

I switch back and forth among all the different OTC allergy meds. If I stay on one for a few months straight it stops working.

MistressNirvana 05-31-2008 08:15 AM

Claritin works good for me , the others are just making me sleepy , uff i hate spring :(( .

Electric Lights 05-31-2008 08:51 AM

you've got herpes.

Peaches 05-31-2008 08:54 AM

I started taking it every day once the pollen started and for the first time in YEARS I haven't had any allergy problems. Love the stuff :)

Jens Van Assterdam 05-31-2008 10:04 AM

Did Zyrtec years back too. Now i get myself an injection every couple of month and i dont have hay fever (alergic reactions) at all. Let me find the name of it..

PersianKitty 05-31-2008 10:30 AM

I did zyrtec back when it was prescription. Took it every day for like 3 years. When I stopped.. no more allergies.

Zyrtec is good... it is also good for hangover. Take one before you start drinking, and you'll feel better next morning!

exactly the same with me - all my allergies simply went away. and i took zyrtec for like 5 or 6 years

take Zyrtec only before bed to minimize the drowsy factor. You will sleep better and histamine levels will be reduced when you wake up in the a.m.

There is a short residual grogginess for me but otherwise it really helps.

zyrtec has NO drowsiness for me whatsoever, I take at 3pm every day

digifan 05-31-2008 02:37 PM

Zyrtec did nothing for me.

LAJ 05-31-2008 04:23 PM

Unfortunately nothing works for me.

ladida 05-31-2008 04:41 PM

Gladly, i've missed the great part of my alergie period this year. Tried shitload of meds, very few work for me, but because i fucking sleep 15 hours a day when i'm on them, i try not to use any at all, and live through it, and take it only in emergencies when i can't breathe cause it's suffocating me heh.

Chauncy 05-31-2008 04:45 PM

get a script for allegra-D I use zyrtec-D as a back up but I can take an allegra-D and a hour later rub a cat on my face and have no issues

bingo!

GO SEE A DOCTOR !!! as simple as that, its gotten 100 times better than 10 years ago, now the meds are simply great but you HAVE to see a specialist, the woman I went to tells me that in most cases you can't stay too long on one thing, it simply stops working

she also told me to go see her in October (that's 7-8 months before the fucked up pollen season) for some great treatment with some french meds that she said were working wonders, I'm doing that for sure

I also bought an air purifier with HEPA filter n shit , it runs 24/7

pocketkangaroo 05-31-2008 05:20 PM

You can buy a bottle (300 pills) of generic Claritin at Costo for like $13. Almost a years supply that you take once a day. Has helped calm my allergies down.

potter 05-31-2008 06:01 PM

you do too many drugs bra
