Are you obese? Reality Check
|
Haha "Reality Check"
|
That means I can put on 50 pounds and still be in the "wight appropriate" zone???
I am 5'10 and 120lbs |
sweet I am overweight! Finally after all those years being called a bean pole! JOY!
6'0 190 NosMo |
I think this is off by like 5 or 10 lbs.
|
Quote:
anyways, at 6'0" I could do with losing a few pounds right now at 185lbs, but i've also been in great shape at 190lbs before. I agree that this scale is a little bit off... |
Well I can lose a few pounds
|
I'm looking forward to be obese...
|
yup i am.
|
nope I'm weight appropriate, 6'4 170lbs

It's really not a reality check... I'm large and very aware of that. *pokes tummy*
|
I like fat. I am fat. lol
|
Not anymore, no.
|
i thought green was supposed to be a healthy color

I had to extrapolate (the graph stops short of both my height and weight) but it looks like I'm on the better side of "overweight"
Reality check? I know I've got love handles...... :) |
Keep in mind this thing doesnt account for muscle mass. If you're into bodybuilding at all, this scale is pretty much useless...
Edit: I just realized what forum I'm on. You're all 500 pounds and unable to walk due to blown out knee's. Fatties. |
lazycash is a fucking fat lardass motherfucker who drags his fat fucking sloppy ass along the sidewalk whenever he walks his worthless soft pos fat ass to the neighborhood liquor store. That fucking fat ass loser makes me laugh!!!
Thanks you really fat pos moron!!! :thumbsup |
I weighed more when I was thiner. I lost weight and lost muscle mass, kinda sucks
|
the few the proud the obese
|
I'm a 19. I can supposedly gain 35 lbs and still be weight appropriate, which doesn't sound quite right.
I would slit my fucking wrists if I gained that much weight. |
Quote:
You're 19... statistically speaking you are a few hormones from that much weight gain. If 35lbs. makes you want to rethink your will to live, you might want to take up a hobby or get a dog or something. |
the graph is wrong, know why?
im 5'8, i was 175LBS before(all muscle), but i lost weight now im like 160LBS, im far from fat. SO you saying all these big dudes at like 5'10, 200LBS are fat? |
The chart doesn't take in to account lean muscle and thus will never be correct for athletes. It's for measuring couch potatoes only.
|
It's a good thing I'm not ;)

I wrote that I'm A 19. Not, 19. As in, the chart. Too many hobbies and not enough time is already a huge problem. Which is maybe one of the reasons I don't have a weight problem. And I actually just got a 5 week old puppy a few days ago, so you can check that one off your list, too. And I would still slit my wrists if I gained 35 pounds. If you like being fat, then more power to you. But here's a newsflash- it's not because of your hormones or the fact that you're over 19. Sorry to burst your bubble. |

Dude... calm down.. take your zen pill. I have a lot of hobbies too. I work on my feet about 7 hours a day, I work as a writer, I have my own dog to take care of (had her for 6 years)... Still fat. My fat is a combination of genetics, intake of the wrong foods, and not enough cardiovascular work. I get the weights, just not the sweaty stuff. I'm not idiot enough to say it's ONLY hormones, but I did gain a good chunk of my weight during puberty and not all of it was food intake because I was playing sports and eating fairly well. I'm talking the middle-age spread for you... most people gain a lot of weight around that age. As for misreading your post, I apologize... my glasses are broken. At the end of the day, I'm being sarcastic and joking. I don't think someone slitting their wrists is funny (not that mean) and I think it sucks that someone would end their life over a few pounds like that. Life is a lot more than a number on a scale. I'm not aiming for any one size. I aim to keep active and I am to keep with my resolve of no sodas and no fast food (doing well on that). After that... life is too short to take it all that seriously. You wanna off yourself over it, have fun... "express mail your soul to the diety of your choice". But don't expect the other lemmings to run off the cliff with ya. |
im weight appropriate

I looked anorexic at 205, and I'm only 6'. Call it Norse genetics, but I was kinda sickly. 215-220 is a good weight for my frame.
|
Jesus, I'm guessing the fact that the chart doesn't go high enough is a bad sign!
|
6' 2" and I'm fat at 195 and obese at 230 ? ....... My appropriate weight is between 165-170 ? ..... Who made this shit up?
|
overweight, but not posting the details :helpme
|
22, yellow, looks like I'm fine.
|
I'm in the orange-field, but I'm pretty close to the yellow. I've been eating healthy for months and will continue to do so, so I'll soon be in there. ;)
|
I consider myself pretty fit
|
Quote:
you're like 22 years old and you say at 6 feet you are 205 lbs? thats definitely overweight, not matter how you want to twist it or do you just compare yourself to your old weight? |
wow I'm over weight, i need to go back to the gym lol
|
Im obese, but only after playing 'Ookie Cookie' with Juicy...
|
Indeed I am but far less so than this time last year.

Rashad Evans, 5'11" / 205 lbs. http://www.kocosports.com/mmatn/matthamill.jpg Matt Hamill, 6'1" / 205 lbs. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x...tonJackson.jpg Quinton Jackson, 6'1" / 205 lbs. Now I'm not saying that most people that are overweight in that chart are built (as in, it's muscles and not fat), but clearly the chart doesn't discriminate. Arnold, when he was winning any of his Mr. Olympias, would have been "very obese" and he probably had 5-6% body fat. So the chart alone is useless without fat calipers or at least a mirror. :) |
my cock is 5'2", I just haven't weighed it yet
|
Kevsh, you're showing top of the line athletes and not webmasters who spend most of their day at the in front of PC eating fastfood, who rather look like this with such weight :error
http://www.afgfreedom.co.uk/Webpages...37;20small.jpg so don't compare Arnold Schwarzenegger (not sure re spelling?) with BradM lol or anyone else here perhaps Warchild from this thread would be an exception, since he trains BJJ and runs everyday from what I remember anyway, this wasnt intended about BradM, I just know that 95+% of people (especially young ones, under 25 y.o.) who are 205 or even 215-220 lbs at 6.0 feet, are overweight |
Hahaha, I'm like one square away from being overweight. I could be happy or I could be panicking. I am neither, I'm content with my weight I have a juicy latin butt so that makes it worth carrying a few extra lbs.
|
This chart is for Men and not people who are under 10% of bodyfat or so.
