2009 Mercedes SL550.. should be around 100k depending on options.. The car will be out this spring in the US.. If you really want to splurge you can get the AMG 63 or 65 model.

Dude, I went through the same thing. For me the Porsche 911 was the ideal midlife crisis car BUT it is spendy as hell and won't carry clubs so fuck it. I got the BMW M3 Convertible. BMW so no need to explain what it is or why you bought it. Very fast and handles and all that crap.

BUT the deal maker is the convertible. I had never had one before. With the top down and the wind blowing, it is out of this world and

my penis grew 2 inches when I signed the papers. I swear!

BMW Z4 = affordable, fun, best handling roadster and some say of all BMWs...about 40k or in a few months the new BMW M3, 400BHP, best handling all at around 60k...

A good "older" car is an Acura NSX if you can find one in good condition that was taken care of well, it's fringe super car and run 30-50k these days.
