there is no reason to lose money in stocks if you plan long term and think logical.

Day trading forget it,and dont listen to the experts use your own head,I turned $60k into 90k within 20 weeks and didnt take a risk at all.:thumbsup

now its time to sit and wait until the next risk free deal comes along ,could be 1 week could be 1 year :)

I love day trading, if you can find some great stocks (not always that happens), it makes you around 2% daily if you are playing not too much.

I probably made $12k day trading penny stocks during the dot com bust. And I was long on all my positions too that's the funny part.

I made a million trading penny stocks, but also lost it all, so i know exactly how he feels :(

Many,I like currency trading.

If you see a currency such as say the CDN dollar hit a 20 year high against the dollar you know if you have CDN dollars to buy US$ as it will change later.

For many years I saw the UK pound trade about 1 pound = $1.60 ish and I had pounds so when it went to over $2 I could get for 1 pound i purchased tons of dollars and then you just sit and wait for the US$ to recover.

Yes it takes time and patience but its a no brain zero risk investment.

Thats a basic summary,but you have to know currency markets of course :thumbsup

If I understand you correctly, you go long currencies hitting 20 year lows? That would seem to be far from risk-free.

For example, that rule would have put you long the Russian Ruble vs the US Dollar in 1995. Three years later you would have lost 70% of your money.

Or the dollar against the Brazil real. It is amazing you don't get smoked more often.

Going long Rentenmark's woulda gotta ya killed in 1923. Damn, it was cheaper to burn money than coal!
