ACTUAL FACT: Cow's Milk is NOT meant for HUMANS

Milk from a cow is for infant cows and nothing else.

Humans and all mammals only need milk from their own species until their infancy is over and then thats it, done and done. No other species drinks another species' milk... It has no health benefit.

"But you need calcium to blah blah blah"... Nope, we're all good don't worry.

The worst shit is how the milk industry insists that dairy is an "essential food group" when really it's no better than junk food.

After Shock Media 01-13-2008 03:36 PM

Milk and cheese tastes good, enough said.

Of course it was not meant for humans but humans also decided we wanted it and began farming cattle and other animals to get it. Since you are onto your facts though there are no animals on this planet meant for humans really. Not to mention honey is not meant for humans either it is meant for bee larva and nothing else.

RedShoe 01-13-2008 03:37 PM

we're the only species on the planet that continues to drink milk after we're weened of the tit.

Now then.. if I could just find me a few wet nurses, I could go right back to the tit in a heartbeat.

qxm 01-13-2008 03:37 PM

be that as it may.....I still like my cow sake.......:winkwink:

jscott 01-13-2008 03:41 PM

humans could've survived without having to kill anything

we are a greedy and selfish species

TheDoc 01-13-2008 03:42 PM

You do need calcium, and calcium is nothing if it can't be absorbed by the body which only % of it is. Milk is a horrible calcium provider because most of it can not be absorbed by the body. At that, we need several types of calcium for different areas of our body, something milk does not provide.

Our teeth are cut like plant eaters and not meat eaters we should probably stop eating other animals too.

Not that I'm giving up red meat or milk for my cereal anytime soon.

Humans are "meant" to eat meat, we're omnivores...

You're right, but honey is grouped in with "junk foods" where it belongs, not as one of the main "essential food groups".

Humans are not meat eaters, we just eat meat. Our bodies enzymes only break down foods one type at a time, starting with plants and often passing on-through most of the meat product.

It takes more energy to break red meat down than you get from it.

Fish is a different story.

seeric 01-13-2008 04:01 PM

i drink 2 gallons a week.

healthy as a cow i am.

fucking doctors are amazed at how healthy i am based on my lifestyle.

eat healthy, DRINK MILK, and lots of water and party like a banshee.

i have the organs of a 20 year old i was told after my physical.

i don't listen to facts.

Ice cream without the milk tastes like shit...
A Cheeseburger minus Cheese is just a hamburger *yuck*
Cheese fries without cheese.... are just fries
Chocolate minus the milk sucks

Is your shit dark brown? That's red meat, it shouldn't be dark in color. Lettuce passes through, it's nothing. Spinach is broken down by enzymes like most veggies and the nurturance is absorbed through the intestines as it passes through. When the body doesn’t need anymore, it will pass on.

You can get to many vitamins and minerals in your body too, when your piss is glowing orange and you have been drinking enough water, your body just passes it on. Just like to much water.

This also happens because meat doesn’t fully digest making it get stuck so the veggies aren’t able to fully or properly absorb.

NosMo 01-13-2008 04:19 PM

bah, I still like my dead cow covered in cheese. and smothered in dead pig (bacon). but that wet nurse idea is a good one.

It's probably worse than most junk food... Causes a long list of medical problems, has little nutritional value.. the bad outweighs the good.

Plus most "dairy" products ARE DEFINITELY junk foods. Cheese for one.. It's greasy, calorie filled delicious non-beneficial junk. Ice cream. Whipped cream. Butter. How is it not junk food?

And I haven't even got into milk's pus content yet, especially in mass produced milk.

We have teeth for both meat and plant. Molars, Incisors and Canine. What plants require sharp pointed Canine teeth to eat?!?

seeric 01-13-2008 04:28 PM

you must be reading that propaganda book Milk: The Deadly Poison.

My old roomate was infatuated with his health, was a diagnosed hypochondriac. Guy went nuts reading shit like that.

If you're reading that book or any other propaganda, do yourself a favor and toss it now.

WarChild 01-13-2008 04:29 PM

Fatty milk products are still better than most junk foods on protein content alone. Every good body building diet, for instance, includes skim milk.

You don't need a book, you need common sense.

The majority of humans can't even digest milk.

I don't understand how people can just pass off every bit of information that contradicts what the government tells them as a "conspiracy theory" and not even look into it.

you need to learn how to respectfully disagree.

i have no issues digesting milk. you're free to give your opinion all you want. when it's rejected, you just have to accept it. it's not easy to do, but there are two sides to everything. just because you found some information somewhere, written by god knows who, doesn't mean I'm going to stop doing something that has been a staple of my diet and health for 30 years. your facts are without merit in my case. in others, you may be right.

i'm a very educated person, i can assure you that.

We have Canine teeth, but they are grouped with incisors teeth, unlike animals that eat other animals, they have incisiform teeth which are much sharper but can look like incisors (the front teeth).

This means we are designed to eat tough plants, nuts and soft meat, like fish.

No, it means that those other animals are meat eaters only. Why would their meat eating teeth be grouped with anything else?

We eat both meat and vegetables. We kinda need different teeth groups.

CyberHustler 01-13-2008 05:02 PM

Yeah, I read somewhere that milk is the leading cause of autism. I told my friend who has an autistic daughter about it and he stopped giving her milk. Needless to say her condition improved drastically.

Yeah, I know that.. We can eat meat, the point is red meat. Which our teeth are not designed to break down..

Don't forget we cook our red meat, for safety because our bodies don't properly digest it, and so we can chew it, because are teeth are not designed to rip through meat.

i don't buy milk because the milk industry tells me too.

:)

you're free to believe what you want, just don't believe everything you read on the internet. you're not a doctor. ask your doctor. don't forget some of them are paid to propagandize things too. no one is above a couple bucks to give opinion on anything.

No shit. my husband is all into that and he sees and reads how this and that causes cancer every damn other day on TV. For the longest time we changed everything in my kitchen with each stupid whim the media has gone on trying to tell us not to eat that it will cause cancer. He JUST about drove himself AND me mad with all that horseshit.

He would tell me, NO pork chops for me, I can't eat pork, I but then he'd eat a big ass sausage biscuit, WHAT THE HELL!! Some idiot Dr told him pork chops would be hard on his gallbladder so he took it to heart and stopped eating pork chops but was still eating sausage and bacon, and we'd laugh our silly heads off at him because that's pork if I ever seen it...... lmao

He watches the news like his next breath depends on it and I stopped watching the news and all the "propaganda" about 10ish years ago....... it's all a buncha damn crab designed to see how badly they can scare us and keep us that way. :upsidedow The whole world has gone mad and turned upside down. lol

Milk... it does a body good, ETC.

You sound like the few veggies i know around me. They're all scientific about how we're meant to do this or that. Without going into too much debate about animal rights, veggies and carnivores, i'll just add this.

My grandma lived till 90. She lived her whole life at the farm. She ate what she made and what she cought/bred/grew there (meat was an ingreadient in almost every meal, milk was drank every single day). Died of natural cause. She never bothred with "fat-free milk", "whole-wheat bread", yada yada what you get fed by the media these days. She didn't buy summer fruit in the fucking winter from the supermarket. She didn't buy eggplants that were perfectly shaped with perfect purple color. Anyone i know from the place she lived in is either still alive, or died of natural causes.

On the other note, almost noone (that i know) died of natural cause in the city i live in. It's either cancer, or stroke. Most of them were in their 50's.

it could be better said that humans are meant by design to consume certain macro nutrients... and those can be found in a variety of places.

you make zero sense and obviously have a very poor grasp of how the human body works and are attempting to use some sort of weak 3rd grade reasoning to look clever.

and obviously cows milk wasn't "meant" for humans. thats just retarded semantics that proves nothing. and that doesn't change the fact that it has nutritional value to humans... i.e. good fats, sugar, protein, calcium, potassium, vitamin a, vitamin b etc etc etc etc etc.

I eat red meat, I said that above.. I drink milk daily, and I love steaks. I'm stating what is true vs what you are told. Your body isn't designed to eat it, digest it, or anything, that includes many thing though and not just meat.

My great grandmother was hella old when she died, drank beer and smoked, ate meat, all that crap. Grandfather was healthy, did it all right, ate correctly, died of a heart attack at 60.

Some people diet means nothing and others it means everything.

Red meat, #1 reason why men have Colan issues.

TSGlider 01-13-2008 05:26 PM

First off, nice one with the "what r u in 3rd grade" comment. I'm not trying to look "clever", I'm just trying to inform people that don't know. Obviously no one knows what we are "meant" to eat, hence my quotation marks.

The point is that the dairy industry tells us that milk is essential to sell milk, and many people take that as medical advice.

Not ONE other animal drinks another species milk and not ONE other animal drinks milk after infancy.

75% of the world is lactose intolerant (95% of black people are) because we DONT NEED it as adults.

BlackCrayon 01-13-2008 05:46 PM

Didn't mean you're a veggie, just some of the explanations you have are similar to what they use for reasoning. People are trying too much to scientifically disprove what has worked for centuries. Your grandparents example is rather an exception, if you took a case study of 1000 cases i'd wager. Also, i myself don't even think drinking and smoking are that unhealthy (if taken lightly, not smoking 4 packs a day) compared to some of the "healthy" food we can buy at supermarkets. I think our bodies are made so we can easilly dispose of all kinds shit we put in our organisms, as long as it's not "over a certain limit".

Fish, nuts, beans... look it up, there are a ton of foods that have more than enough calcium for us. And we don't need much in comparison to many animals... Think about horse hoofs, tusks, antlers... those animals get along fine without milk to make these things strong.
