Global climate change...

Pornwolf 12-04-2007 07:50 PM

That's pretty amazing. The temp must have dropped insanely fast for that to happen.

Anyone know the specifics on how that happened?

crockett 12-04-2007 07:51 PM

It's not frozen waves these have already made their rounds on the net a few times. It's ice that pushed up from below.

Pornwolf 12-04-2007 07:55 PM

Oh, well that's not quite as amazing as waves but that's still pretty fantastic.

Sams_gfy 12-04-2007 07:55 PM

Nice :) And cold.

Not actually a wave...

seeric 12-04-2007 10:41 PM

moving water cannot freeze. this was on one of the urban legend sites too, still very cool though.

mightyjoe 12-04-2007 10:57 PM

how the hell can have waves there (where's the ocean?) and freeze for a blink off an eye?

you guys are too ignorant!

That's a bunch of bullcrap. Moving water CAN freeze as long as is freezes long and hard enough and the speed isn't too high.
Same goes for salt water.

Waves have to high a speed to freeze while rivers might freeze.

Farang 12-05-2007 05:54 AM

looks cool :)

Kron 12-05-2007 06:05 AM

Damn, that look impressive

pornguy 12-05-2007 07:26 AM

Waves or not. that is one more proof that mother nature is the most powerful force of earth.
