Thats not moving water... that was water that has frozen after ..... dripping....

for an extended time of course...

although it is possible for the 'cover' of a river to freeze... while the underneath flow still ... .flows... a shell can form...

thats the extent of frozen moving water possibilities... unless of course introduced to a much colder atmosphere than a river bed would allow...

those pictures are only stalagmites of ice ... in a sense...

as for the origianl pics in this threa.d... glaciers ... also in a sense... whether moved up from below or thawed out around.... mini(yet large) glaciers....

OMG, i can't imagine these people even don't know what is a wave is. a waves can creates a powerful backwash. and they are come as fast as a seconds, then gone immediately. not stagnant like a body of a moving water.
