I agree with complaining about the stolen content!

But:

This is the same old industry BMW session that has been raging for years!
BMW = Bitch, Moan and Whine.

First it was:

- internet sites killing magaizine/vhs/dvd sells........then
- free sites killing paysite sales......then
- picpost killing free site sales.......then
- TGPs killing picpost sells.......then
- MPGs killing TGP sells........and now
- Tube sites killing etc...etc...


Look, the sales don't get killed, the market and it's delivery just changes.

Fact : The paysite will always sell because they will continue to deliver the niche in bulk! They will continue to deliver the higher quality. They will simply evolve to fit the current delivery method.

The problem that affilates are faced with is that they don't want to change.
You must continue to evolve your delivery method and ability to funnel the surfer to the highest quality in bulk.

If radio and television didn't kill the music and film business then why would tube sites kill porn.

The most extreme conditions would be that tube sites dominated the internet with such a force that sponsors no longer cared about free sites or TGPs because they made so much money thru type-ins from tube sites.
If that ever became the case then tube sites would simply start charging a fee for the sponsors to upload their videos. At that point it would just make sense for affilates to just build tube sites instead of TGPs.

In other words, the market would evolve back to what it originally was where you had traffic and sponsors paid up front for advertizing.

No more will affiliates think about conversion ratio, charge back etc...

Is this really a industry change to be fearing?

People aren't complaining about the delivery method of tube sites, they are complaining about the content theft. The tube sites are just taking rips of members areas and putting them up for free. Then selling AFF or another dating sponsor. This isn't a delivery issue, it's a content theft issue.

Yes, but there is also the whining about how sales have dropped because they exist period.

My script imports sponsor approved content made in flash or used in hosted galleries and they are all short clips.

Plus, each vid has the banner for that sponsor posted on top.

Ease up on the stimulants dude. Not a single person running my script is using stolen content to this day. The main reason for that is the script grabs the content for them so there is no need to go looking for stolen shit.
Why spend time trying to upload stolen shit when the script can import 3000 sponsor approved flash videos in 10 minutes and grab another 10,000 videos from hosted galleries in 2 hours?

My script is a CMS (content management systems) and not an html design.

Some people are looking for a full site design and that was not my purpose but I will consider that since it appears to be what some people want.

Tubecgi is a backend product like comus thumbs or NATS. They don't design the site layout, they control the site functions.

I don't think anyone should be stealing content or posting whole movies or even long movies. My post is kind of misleading.

I hope the tube sites that do that get shut down.

Makes it easier for the average Joe to buy and install, not too crazy about the perl backend as well. You could probably do some simple rewriterules to make those URLs a bit more friendly also. Along with a little more more error checking and perhaps a cache system if it doesn't already have one.

Just trying to give you some tips. Hooking up with a designer and spending $1k to make a good default template and good interface would definitely make it look more reliable.

There are many things that are not being done because of server issues.
I spent too much time trying to help people with their server.

That stuff is for custom jobs where people are paying much more money.

I would love to see one, JUST ONE, site using only the clips that your script gets from sponsers' flash galleries be the size of any of these and I will agree with you and buy a few copies!
