People submitting galleries to me have been submitting them for a year now, I think if they didn't make profits from the listings, they wouldn't keep on submitting, would they?

You will not sell your site for any amount (let alone a quarter mil) to any reasonable person without opening your books. That's all there is to it.

Without knowing how much the site generates, no one can determine what it is worth.

In order to set a true value.. You need to at least provide a bare minimum income number from the site.

I don't understand you gotys.... no one in their right mind is ever gonna give you $250k for a site because you say it rocks. Not without some proof of current revenue.... it's just not gonna happen. You tried this before, and it didn't happen then either. Your site might convert galleries like nothing else in this world, but without the numbers, you're never gonna get dick for it.

Which means, this can only be some sort of troll thread to drum up some new submitters or some other such nonsense....

Cool man, now you may get some interest. Keep in mind that you will have to PROVE that to a potential purchaser, and 15k puts it at more like 180k at most.

Gimme a break. "You get what you put into it." Of course, just like any other business. But there's always a bottom line number and examples of previous revenue for the buyers to base their decision on. If you make $20k a month from it, then they should be able to as well. If they can't, that's their problem.

To me it sounds like you want to get out of the biz -- because your site is too much work... Put the shit on autopilot -- stop reviewing galleries -- then take a two year vacation like me ;)

You also have to factor in -- that when you leave -- you take with you the linking relationships... So profits will fall unless you sell to someone with good linking relationships.
