It's official! I've lost over 50lbs! in eight weeks, Here's how.
I went to the doctor today and I'm back under 200! Last Year I blew up from 185lbs to 255lbs in less than six months (due mostly to the "crazy pills" I'm on making me crave sugar). Today, I weighed in at 198lbs after just two months of changing my diet slightly..Woo hoo!
All I did was stop eating sweets at night (used to eat cookies and taffy at night, like a whole box at a time) and limit fast food to once or twice a week (used to eat it every day for lunch), that's it. It's melting off. I'm just about back to being a lean mean sex machine! damn, I am one sexy bitch! except I have more stretch marks than the old lady who lived in the shoe! |
No exercise involved?..good for you
congrats on the weight loss man
nice to hear
Cool... Congrats! :thumbsup
I'm at -10 pounds in the last 8 weeks... going for -55 pounds in 55 weeks... figure getting a bit ahead is sensible with the holidays coming up, and me returning to my mother's cooking for a week in December. Though unlike you, I haven't modified my diet at all, but am instead doing it via 100% exercise... just two 20-minute sessions of cardio 4 days a week. Figure sitting on my ass all day for the last couple years, it's about time I got back into shape. |
Congrats! good for you
congrats :)
congrats on losing the weight...if you lost that all in 6 weeks, without exercise...it's hard to believe though.

Yup, I went from 240 to 180 (at 189 now) when I spent 6 months in London and stopped drinking soda and stopped fast food. That was almost 2 years ago and I'm still down that weight. Even with weekly fast food and soda daily. Pretty amazing.
Congrats to you bro. Yeah, I have some pretty wicked stretch marks also. |
Congrats, I bet you feel better.
Man my crazy pills made me crave food and I could never figure out what I needed, I'm not a big fan of candy and sweets, so I was constantly just eating trying to find satisfaction...
75 pounds later I realized it was the zoloft and cut it way back and planning to go off completely soon. not even half as hungry as I have been the last 2 years. Fucking pharmacudical companies and their pills! |
congrats man , you did it - i not :-(
goodluck bro keep it up
Fuck me with out a condome, but that won't work. I don't eat sugar nor fast food and I'm still 200 lbs. How tall are you?

congrats...man.. i need to loose a few me self..

Congrats man! Here's to your health!
Congrats! It's hard. I lost 80 pounds a while back and whats even harder than losing the weight is keeping it off. Good luck, stick with it.
Congrats on the weight loss :)
Congrats! That's really great consdering only minor changes needed. Good for you!!
CONGRATS!!!! I've lost over 70lbs since last December. It came off faster when I exercised but it's still coming off slowly. I stopped drinking soda, keep sweets to a minimum.....well, except for late night 711 runs... cut my portions down BIG TIME, don't eat desserts, etc. It's amazing what can happen when you JUST learn to control yourself. CONGRATS again and good luck on the continual fight bro!!!!

Just walk about a mile a day to start, or every other day. You will feel as good as you look. :thumbsup Once again, Congrats. |
I lost 110lbs but that took 1.5 years. I didn't exercise either. My stretch marks go away when I use Emu Oil.

Congrats on losing the weight, but the real challenge is keeping it off. As it's been mentioned you need exercise to maintain your weight as well as eating balanced meals.
Damn!
I've gained 10 in eight weeks. Eating sweets are the least of my problem though :) My weight is going to turn into a human. Then hopefully I'll lose 10lbs in 24 hours! Congrats on the weight loss! |
I still have trouble with snacking, my thing tho' now is that my snacks are much healthier.
6 months ago I'd have ice cream, or anywhere from a candy bar, to a 1 pound box of candy. Now days these are my choices for a snack: Mozzarella cheese stick Dreyer's unsweetened fruit pop *28 calories* Kashi Go Lean high protein, high fiber cereal - I just grab a bit and eat it like nuts. Last night for dinner I had lemon chicken, and I got hungry around 10, so I ate a small dinner salad. My next step is just to avoid snacking all together. But, for now I'd rather eat something that is somewhat healthier for me, then breakdown and fuck up a quart of ice cream...LOL I'm down below 250 now, started at 325. The weight loss is a bit slower here recently, but I'm still happy that I'm headed in the right direction. |
Congrats on the progress!
Just ordered a new treadmill yesterday for the house. I have a new diet I am working on. I am 6'4" and 270lbs now, heaviest I have been in a long time. Time to lose 30-40 pounds at minimum. Grats on the weight loss though can't wait to be slim again myself.

Congrats, I Just Started Working Out Pretty Hard. It Is A Great Feeling To Change Your Body
I can't figure out why I'm gaining weight - I'm eating 2 boxes of candy and a bowl of spaghetti every night right before bed... WTF?
Hey man well done.
I'm 190 lbs atm and am trying to get back in shape (175 is my goal). I've seen a nutritionist and she gave me a good diet which consists mainly of salads and soups lol. Now I just have to stop eating junk food. I <3 fries and KFC. :( |

i've never gotten really big for my size, but i did pack on 20 lbs after i got married and we lived in a loft on the 13th floor in downtown LA. it was like a prison...with no gym. when we moved out of downtown, i just started riding my bike every night after work (easy on your joints and you can choose your level of activity by doing flat or hills). when i started losing weight it was really inspiring so i started eating healthier too, and now i'm actually down to the weight i was in highschool, 115. |
Congrats :thumbsup:thumbsup
I'm on Atkinson diet for 7 days now. I'm already lost 3 kg. I'm feeling good and can't wait to get back to my normal weight. (Have about 10kg more). This diet is really good and you can eat many things (meat, fish, vegetables/salads, cheese you can't eat bread, pasta, rice, milk, fruits, sweets/shugar...).
