Something that continues to annoy me about many mainstream sites
Is when there is an email contact on the page and they never reply to emails. For example, if you have a webpage for a restaurant and you say 'email us to place a reservation' but you never check that email address (or at least reply) then you suck.
Has happened three times at least this week where I have been to a site for a fairly major restaurant or off-line store where they make a big deal of 'email us with questions or to make a reservation, etc and never hear back. I bet most of these places would fire staff that didn't answer the phone when a customer called..same thing in my view /rant ..lol |

If its something important as reservation, I'd prefer to call.

Most of my experiences were bad related to this subject. Only few responses from costumer care services.

Yeah, I normally would call or use one of the bigger reservation service websites but since they made such a big deal on the website about emailing for reservations and I had a few days space I gave it a try..never got a reply and the reservation was suppose to be for last Friday. So, I went somewhere else that wanted my buisness.

call them on the phone and ask why you never got a reply to your email.
and while you are at it, ask them what sort of spam are you going to get in the email addy you provided! |
Yeah, I called but the person that picked up wasn't great with the English skills and didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

Yeah that is pretty annoying!

i've learned my lesson the hard way in the past. :( now i call, and i make sure to get the name of the person that i spoke to..
