Converting Lineart to Vector?

I need to convert lineart to nice smooth vector lines...I heard adobe streamline 4 does this well? Anyone used it? Anyone know of alternate products? Or a place to find a free lifetime full use trial version of streamline? :winkwink: For ahem trial purposes??

Streamline is good

Corel Trace (included in Corel Draw does it)

Freehand does it as well

HTH

Macro

the only way to this right is to scan it in hi-res and to go manually node by node

if the quality is not that important, i scan in it hi-res, completely clear up the bgr and trace in corel draw

corel features some quite usable ?smoothing? tools but nothing beats manual node editing

if there?s a faster way, please let me know, i would really need to speed up this process (working on a mainstream clip-art cd ;-)
