How to cash/deposit an affiliate check in GERMAN language?
 

I just got an affiliate payout check that is in total German language, i'd be embarrassed to take it to a bank here in USA lol

any certain format on how to handle this?

i get US checks all the time and have to deposit them in germany and czech rep. - and no one cares. whats good enough for us should work for you too ;)

Yes. They should be able to handle. However the bank will probably charge you some extra fees for this and the check may take longer than normal to clear.

ok i can understand how maybe the only thing that matters is bank acct and routing numbers, but i'm curious as to how a teeny bopper bank teller here in the midwest USA knows what words like "konto" or "betrag" or "ausstellungsort" or buchstaben" all means lol

Two ways:

1. Go to bank, and they will handle.

2. Send check back to program and request wire transfer or fucking english check.

BTE, "Check in German Language" - as opposed to what? German smoke signals?

They won't, but that's why banks have foreign departments and managers. Just take it in, and don't leave until it's processed. It'll take 4-6 weeks to clear, though.

If it was such a big problem them most non-us/british,etc webmasters wouldn't get their checks cashed hahah ;)

Konto = Account (the account no. probably)
Betrag = Amount
Ausstellungsort = Place where the check has been issued
