While still on our northeast tour of the U.S. - today we spend several hours baking in the heat and humidity of Philadelphia...photographin' Eastern State Penitentiary.

Definitely a cool place with an interesting background. The link has some good background reading.

I took 390 shots there earlier in the day. And lost a few gallons of sweat in the process.

Its not electric - its a barber's chair.

There is a cool site called abandonedbutnotforgotten dot com that has a ton of these kinds of photos and other urban exploration pics, check it out. I wasted a few hours there the other day and another few earlier today, tons of great stuff. :thumbsup
