Twelve Monkeys was shot here, and an episode of Emeril: Live.

Photography for Sting's album 'All This Time' was also shot at ESP.

I've heard scenes from Shawshank Redemption were shot here, but not confirmed on that.

Not that prison is a good place to live now, but it must have REALLY sucked back then. Nowadays they can have all sorts of electronics. Can you imagine being in that prison with nothing to do but read or stare at the wall? I'll bet the prison suicide rates were much higher back then.
