A musician that had some success in the 80's is making a comeback and offered me $2000 for the Mr Pheer dot com and myspace page.

Prime example is the band Tool their website is toolBAND.com another example of someone not using their myspace page name, myspace.com/peepingtomISPATTON

Right most bands don't have domains that match their band. I doubt they are trying to start a cool trend, to me it looks like they couldn't afford to buy their own name. I bet tool.com wasn't going to sell cheap. With so many people not having their own band name i bet it makes you look better that you do. More reason for this guy to spend a little more for it. What do you think would look better: mrpheer.com for 5K or mrpheerband.com for $10

Who makes an offer with an amount that they wont spend 1 penny more. Everyone offers less than what they are willing to pay.

Hell for that matter, if his band name is mrpheer and he didn't want to spend the money fine, let him go make a new name like mrpheerband.com think of all the type in traffic mrpheer will get, throw some adsense on there.... mrpheer would probably make a lot more than 5k over time just from this idiot using a name like mrpheerband.com especially if he gets big.
