I honestly didnt start out knowing anything about html.. and its really not all that hard to figure out with frontpage express, because you can use thier templates, etc..

Sorry, but I doubt FrontPage Express taught you HTML unless you look at the source code while building it. Please stop claiming that you know HTML if you really don't.

Or if you do wanna try and do it yourself then have a look at Dreamweaver. I found it much easier to use than FrontPage. Have a look at some of the sites kicking around in sigs and on banners and use your creativity and imagination. You seem to have ideas just need a better way to present them.

I'm sorry I said your site looked crap in the other thread. It still holds true but at least you are looking to change and improve. After you do some work let us know and we'll have another look. You'll still get bashed by a lot of people here but after a few days you'll get used to it.

No matter how good you design a site, unless you have some better content you are not going to make money.

There's a personal "Single Girl" sites on the net where the girl is boasting she gives the greatest blow job imaginable, loves doing it, swallows every last drop and loves every minute.

It has the plainest design possible, but it kicks ass. I think by the quality of some of the pics it's not so amateur??

Then there is your site, nice artistic pics but nothing to get a surfers dick up and uuntil you do that you will not get paid.

I just wonder about one thing... you said that you finally got that site up, but it says "Copyright 2001" on it. Does that mean that it took you more than eight months to build it?

Why are you getting so upset when people say that it sucks? It does.

My advice: find a partner (business, not sexual) who knows about that stuff. This time sign a contract.

You got a nasty reception here. I should point out that it is par for the course. If you were looking for a friendly board, look elsewhere. A lot of bigwigs (and a lot of vocal nobodys like me) post here. It is a great place to learn... but people generally won't be nice about it.

Part of the problem was you looked like you were spamming. The truth is, though 9 out of every 10 new people on the board do the same thing. Like you, they take some crap about it. Best thing to do is move on.

Then there is your site. It is really bad. There's no nice way to say it, but I don't say it to be mean. There are people on this board who can design you a premium site for a few hundred bucks. If you have the money, it's worth the investment. There are also people who can help you with the site you have, giving you some free advice. However, it is hard to walk someone through making a bad site into a good one.

My advice for you is to consider hiring someone like Fletch, Hungryman, or Set the World on Fire to make you a better site. It won't be cheap, but you will like the results, and so will your viewers. If you can't afford that, then my advice is to check out their portfolios, and some of the other sites linked from here. Compare what we do to what you've got... You can learn a lot just by paying attention to things like that. It's how I learned design. I'm no expert, but I do okay.

Good luck with it all. And don't take these assholes too seriously, they're mostly big cupcakes once you get to know them.

Maybe it's my imagination, but this person comes off more like a young male trying to play the part of a hottie. If she were really this person who is featured on the site, I can guarantee that "she" whould have some real content of herself up. In her first post (http://www.gofuckyourself.com/showth...threadid=72274) she stated the some photographer did a shoot and was to help her build a site. Anyone notice the content there? It is all from different places and most of it looks like it was scanned. Sorry, but I smell bullshit.

If it isn't bullshit, then you need to take some initiative. Save your pennies and hire a designer. You aren't going to get a handout from any experienced webmasters/designers. The internet is filled with hot women looking to be the next Jenna. One could spend all day, every day helping out these "poor helpless girls". We all know better. If you want help, PAY FOR IT.

It's always good to Learn about a place before you start running around inside it. You're starting to appear a little frantic, which I'm sure is not your intention at all. Patience dear one, patience.

Get a real site design. You're never going to be able to make a proper site with the skills you have, period. You might spend some dough but in the long run it'll be better for you.

Besides clicking on my signature and pay for a better design, there is always a way most people who learned HTML before there was WYSIWYG. Try "html tutorial" in Google, it will get a you VERY far.

You should look up some free Web design templates, or go to a site called www.webmonkey.com good tutorials. Everyone here is a ball buster and you will learn that quickly.
