corona

B40 08-05-2002 10:57 AM

Bud or Coor's Lite when I'm feeling like a puss hole.

Beastiepoo 08-05-2002 10:59 AM

Yeah man, the Silver Bullet all the way!!!

But seriously, I don't drink beer very much anymore but when I do it tends to be French. Its cheap and comes in little bottles.

Favorite Beers... Well... There's plenty and I tend to like to try the small Microbreweries.

But in the better known stuff

Alexander Keith's India Pale Ale
Sleemans Lager
Sleemand Cream Ale
Kilkenny
Boddingtons

as for the guys saying Molson.... man, seriously... only if it's on special. It's just not that good. And I live like 10 mins from the Molson Brewery!

Are you talking about Fin de la Monde (End of the world for you Yanks)?

Nasty 10% alchohol stuff.. Fermented again in the bottle, and very yeasty..

Portland is the microbrew capital of the USA, and there are literally too many great choices here to limit oneself much. After all, even before the microbrew craze, we had an everyday beer here, Henry Weinhard's Private Reserve, which would have been a super premium beer anywhere else.

Locally, I frequently have Full Sail Ale, or McTarnahan's Amber Ale. There are too many really good pale ales and India pale ales made by local brewers to name them all. I think to a lot of Portlanders, your question is a puzzling one: with so many great beers to choose from, why give up adventure and limit oneself?

Cogitator 08-05-2002 06:32 PM

Becks
Harp
Guiness
Bass Ale

Not necessarily in that order.... :)

If you are ever in North Carolina make sure to check out this place.
http://www.weepingradish.com/

Its only a few minutes from the Outter Banks and the beer and food are fantastic. The have a German Brewmeister who really knows how to make a good beer. Last time I was there they had 64oz beers for a buck - friends drove me home that night :)

Thanks Nun!

5 minutes from a convent... I have too many jokes, not enough time.

I used to drink Molson, but... I just really don't like it now. But if you're in Montreal, you probably know of Brutopia, Bieres et Compagnies and all the excellent places around here. Ahhh man, why am I in the office? Actually, why isn't there a pub across the street?

Screw Porn, I'm opening a bar!

And to the rest of you, GFY YOU PERVERTED ALCOHOLICS!
