Networking question - printing on a printer in another location
I need to print things on a printer out of the country for whatever reason I need to print things there. Can this be setup somehow? How hard would it be? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. I would have full access and permissions on both computers.

Any help on this would be appreciated

There are probably several ways to do it. If I were you, I would take a simple way like installing pcAnywhere and run the other computer remotely. :2 cents:
I was thinking of pcAnywhere but do they support printing?
Why dont you just send the file that needs to be printed as a PDF and they can print it.
You can add the printer as a local printer through an IP port if the printer is on a publicly accessible IP address.
Because it has to be randomly and 20-30 pages a day.
BigBen, how would I make it an publicly accessible IP address? |
