I need major help with Registry Fly, they locked me out & I?m going to lose domains!
Can someone please help, I am ready to cry. I have a couple hundred domains at RegFly and they requested for me to disable my "IP secure range" in order for them to respond to a trouble ticket. Well now that I have done that I am locked out of my account with RegFly and cannot renew my domains so my domains are going to start expiring and RegFly will not respond to any e-mails or phone calls from me. I am going to lose a lot of money and a lot of very hard work. I just want to cry I am so upset and pissed off I can not believe that this place is doing this to me and not helping. It's my virtual property and I have a right to it. I am so desperate for help right now. I want to keep all my domains.
Can some one please help me!!! Does anyone know anyone there? Does anyone have any ideas? |
that sucks seems regfly is pulling some shady shit the last few days
|
I found out the only way to get support there is to get into the support chat, then wait an hour or so before you finally get somebody in there
then stay nice, throw some compliments their way and they get stuff done |
I am sorry to say that if you do anykind of search about register fly on this board you will find what they are really about.
i am surprised anyone dares to keep domains with them up to this point. best of luck anyway. |
ya i got all my shit transfered, might be able to find a contact via webhostingtalk forum
|
wow that sucks. not sure what you'll be able to do :(

Well there are a sizable number of us that have had issues with registerfly.. Maybe it's to the pont we should do something about it. I'd think they have to be approved by ICANN and follow some sort of guidelines to be able to sell domains.
Why can't we all just start targeting ICANN with floods of complaints? I'm sure there are thousands of people out there that are having the same issues everyone here is. I know myself I never had any issues until the last few months. A few weeks ago every domain I had with them has their name servers changed. I've had an open support ticket waiting for 2 weeks now with no reply. So why can't we pull all our experances together and make a formal complaint with ICANN? |
Call them i have been able to fix issues in the past over the phone without much problem.

Did they give you a reason for locking your account? I had some trouble with them in the past but went the legal route and they quickly stopped fucking around. Not sure if that would still work today but I'd try to get a human on the phone and find out why they are locking and what you can do to stop it.

Tomorrow comes and it's the same BS.. The simple fact is they suck and should not be ICANN accredited. I dunno what the fuck happened to them but they have gone to total shit. I've never seen a company turn to absolute shit the way they have. |

I would LOVE to do that but I am so scared to say anything and then they take all my domains. I have a lot of domains worth a lot of money and I am walking on egg shells with these people. I just can't believe that ICANN is supporting this crap. I transferred my domains to RegFly about a year ago before I knew about all this crap. Thank you for the advice. |

One time I called RegFly forwarded my call to some dude and he said he didn't work there and that sometimes he gets the phone calls forwarded to him from RegFly support and he doesn't know why. Then he told me they suck. What the hell do I do? I need some Fris/Smokey help to get my God Damn domains back. LOL ICANN should be renamed to ICANT LOL |

I am about this close *fingers held half inch apart* to getting an attorney. I have printed EVERY SINGLE E-MAIL and all the WHOIS info for every domain. I have the best in your face paper trail you could imagine preparing for this type of issue. I even printed out every support ticket and every response to every support ticket made them with. |

I think about my domains more than 45 minutes in an hour every waking moment. I can't sleep. I can't believe this. :sadcrying |

Use their online chat, I got my shit fixed with them today through that chat, had to wait almost 1,5 hours before someone came into the chat client and talked to me but it was worth it since I didnt lose my expiering domains.
|
|
maybe a few people with registerfly accounts could email support and tell them about your situation.

I am going to try that and see what happens. I hope I have the luck you guys have had with the chat room. Thank you! |

whatever you do, don't post any of the domains here. some of the nitwits that visit this board would be happy to take them off your hands while you're locked out.
|
i got 100+ domains out of there successfully last month. i just register .info's there now, then transfer them out later.
|
Initiate a transfer externally from another registrar, if you know the authorization codes?
Send a complaint to Icann. Have an attorney send a threatening letter to registerfly that if domains & account are not unlocked within 24 hours that you will sue for millions, etc.. |

All I can suggest is get your lawyer on it, and as move away from registerfly as soon as you get chance.. I'm sorry I can't be of more help, but they have no right to do this to you... regardless of the agreement, you still have rights.

fuck regfly while its time push your valuable domains to GoDaddy!
|
If you have not already, send an email [email protected] explaining the problem and requesting assistance.
|
have the adult.com lawyer give them a call
or your lawyer if youve got one on retainer.. a nice professional call from someone who can sue your balls seems to put fire under alot of peoples asses... hope that helps love |

Well as soon as I get access to my domains trust me I am moving them all over to GoDaddy. I already have a 100 + domains there and I have been trying to consolidate my domains to one location. I can't afford to waist my time or energy worrying about the security of my property. That energy needs to be spent on building my business. Thank you guys for your helpful advice and if anyone can think of a "sneaky" way to get my domains let me know! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
I could have told you they sucked 5 years ago.

There's not much you can do except continue to try and work with them to get your names extended or transferred to another registrar. About a year ago I went threw a similar situation with them and ended up losing 13 names.
The names were making a few dollars a day in ppc revenue so as you can imagine I was pissed. I went as far as getting my attorney involved. But in the end I just gave up. Their domain dispute policy and privacy policy protect them from any wrong doings and it can get extremely expensive to litigate. If your current registrations are though them then your hands might be tied. But there?s a chance that your names are with enom because RegFly used to be a reseller. If this is the case you can contact enom, explain the situation to them and see if they can help. Good Luck |
Sorry about ur troubles i know i would be going mad.
There must be someone on this board or someone that knows someone who can pull rank and get things done |
Loryn,
I went through the exact same thing not more than 3 weeks ago. The domains I had were registered when Registerfly was still just an enom reseller. I was able to call enom and explain the situation to them and they were able to pull the domains away from registerfly and drop them into my enom account. Do a whois on the domains you're worried about and see if they have enom down as the registrar still. If so, you're in luck. Call 425-274-4500, Opt #3 (taken from http://www.enomcentral.com/aboutus.asp ) If you don't have an account at http://www.enomcentral.com/ they will have you create one while you are on the phone with them. At that point they can push the domains into your account. They may want to stick you for the registration fee again but that's usually better than having a dead domain. Good luck |
