I have a little experience with p2p but not much, i have a great idea i think will make everyone who tries it a bunch of money.

The key to getting traffic as far as i see it is 3 major areas.

#1 having keyword related files for people to search for
example: surfer searches for "porn" on a p2p service and finds porn.mpg on your server

#2 having the file your sharing in some way promote your sites.


#3 Having lots of people sharing the same files ( very key )



So #1 is easy to accomplish , you just rename and describe your files to whatever people are searching for example: britney-spears-blowjob.mpg

#2 is where i come in and #3 is where gfy comes in..

If we all name our shared files with a certain keyword in them we can all share each others files.. thus increasing the "value" of the file in terms of its search word..

ok this all sounds great where do i start ?

I will provide you with the files needed to redirect users to your website ( these are the files you would share on your favourite p2p client ) all you do is share the files and download any files with our secret keyword from other users .. this way everyone is sharing each others files making the files seem popular..

If your game all you have to do is download limewire or your fav p2p client get familiar with it, and i will provide more details in a later thread with the keyword of the files you should search for to begin and what to do with the files once you have them.

If you have some experience with p2p hit me up on icq and we can chat more or just respond to this thread with any info you can share..

p.s. this method is great for ANYONE newbs included , dont be shy all you gotta have is a connection faster than dialup and be able to double click things..:)

p.s. i also think this method will do great for combatting copyright infringement by diluting the content already found on p2p services

and ive noticed that limewire gives the list of incoming file name searches. Just run that incoming link list for a few days, filter it on excel and we're in biz!

well the key isnt in quantity its in quality. so while the list is a good indication of popular searches , if 100 people each created 1000 files in order for us all to share all of them would reuqire us all to download 100,000 files..

Now you are more than welcome to create as many files as you wish using this method ( i do ) but the key here is everyone sharing the same files so to begin with i think we will limit ourseves to 10 files each , if everything goes well we will go with 100 then 1000 etc

I will also provide everyone with a small script that will autocreate the files from a keyword list

im working on a mainstream video site that I think would do really well with this as well. I'm just having a problem fiquring out how to have the video that a person downloads from the p2p network automatically load my site after it plays or during the play.

i could hook that up to my spare desktop

Do you have to actually provide videos for them to watch that works hand in hand with this redirect file? I got a fake tgp i would like to send some of this traffic to, can I do it or is this just for paysites? If i can then count me in.

The problem with p2p traffic is nearly the same as with "freesite" traffic.
The surfers that search there don´t want to pay but unlike Freesites on p2p they CAN find everything they want even if it is copyrighted by you so why should they join? they just search for "memebersareacontent of xxxsite.com" (easy spoken)

Smokey - i've been kicking around ideas about rolling this kind of thing out en masse via scripts on virtual hosting accounts. Any love there? You'd have to work around port restrictions and firewalls settings.
