Talk is cheap. He has only been a Senator for less than 4 years he has no "record" to speak of on foreign policy. He talks frequently of smoking marijuana. All of his "speeches" are usually double speak such as replying to a question with another question (example: when asked about how he felt about Bushs handling of the Iraq war he cited a marine named Seamus and said "Are we serving Seamus as well as he was serving us?") Shall I go on?

Ahh ok.. I don't know much about that guy, but I've seen him talk a bit during the elections and he sounded pretty good. Then again they always sound good during the elections.. It's what they do in between that matters..

As a side not I don't think he'd get elected as pres.. too much going against him, which is the sad truth.

Media loves him because is an eloquent black person who is able to inspire people with his speeches.

He could have a nice shot for the presidency because he is highly religious, that way some white folk down south may actually be able to vote for him. He would already receive 95% of the liberal and black vote plus a hefty portion of any other minority.

I don't think you understand how much the liberal hippies love him, if he runs he will be the democratic candidate. Hillary doesn't stand a chance against him. He can also steal some republican votes by using his love for jesus.

If the demos run either Billary, or Obama they will lose worse than Mondale did. There are a ton of Democrats even I would vote for. Everyone thinks they just had a victory with taking over the house and senate. In truth they would of been far better off to of lost again. I did not say he wasn't partisan or that he is running as an independent - I said he stressed that the partisan bickering does not get us anywhere. It doesn't help in terms of what America needs. It's useless.

I think everyone can agree with that, and I think everyone can agree with the need for change.

Maybe unfortunate but lots of Americans will take these into account plain and simple.

By change I mean no partisan bullshit. No special interests. No corporations in bed with government. No political coverups for the sake of elections. No blatant voting fraud in an attempt to sway elections. No baseless wars killing our children. No arrogant, ideological leadership.

More focus on things that matter: education, just security, innovation, humanitarian aid, medical research, and the list goes on..

Sure it may be utopian and it won't happen over night, but every election gives a chance to work towards that goal. I believe the current state of government is pretty sad, and what it has and hasn't done is even more sad.
