So are 3-letter dot coms with one digit in them worth anything?
stuff like NR7.com, LS6.com or something like that..
if someone wants it sure..then its always worth something ;)
Another case of domainers willing to pay more for something than an actual webmaster. That whole domain trading business is crazy.
GooSearch: i'm talking about some random name that hasn't got any special meaning to anybody

imo unless it has traffic and pr its worth what ya registered it for... |
I have seen those sell for low $xxx - $xxxx
Insane to me, but what do I know. |
It's quite different from the usual for me:(
just domain guys selling domains to other domain guys, domains like that don't get developed, so they have little to no real value.
sure they are worth something...dont let them expire
If it has a number in it, it is no longer a 3-letter, it is a 3-character....
They are worth a few hundo easy...... |
It really depends on where the digit is and what the letters are, PS3.com wouldnt be bad ya know :-)
What you are describing is called a "three character" domain name, and the general answer (to the question of: alot of value?) is "no."
There are obvious exceptions such as mp3.com, etc.. |
3 letters are way better
Why don't you try OO7.com? Sounds good. :)
Depends on the name. I personally wouldn't mind owning 38d.com
:) |
I see 3 character domain names go for $xxx on a regular basis. I snag them up if I can get them cheap from those that think they are worth nothing.
not really, if they have no meaning
The whole reason behind the increased value of shorter domain names is due to the fact that, in general, they are easier for surfers to remember. Obscure domain names that have no relevance or meaning, however, completely take away that advantage and can actually be a negative factor compared to longer relative names.
