How to install internet explorer 7 with pirate product key

Internet explorer 7 is able to be installed only on windows which were installed with an original product key. So when you install the program it search if you have an original product key installed with Microsoft genuine validation. If not the setup will cancel. To find out if your computer is genuine go to this site http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/dow...3f136&Error=20. If you are genuine you do not need the following instructions. If not, I have found a way to install internet explorer 7 without having an original product key. Just read carefully the following instructions below and do what it says in order to change the product key and replace it with one that is genuine.

1. Go to Start and then press run.

2. Write “regedit”
Note: Do not delete anything in there unless the instructions said to.

3. Go to “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARES\Microsoft\Windo ws NT\Current version\WPAEvents”

4. Open OOBETimer and delete only two digits etc 6h and press a number from 1 to 10, in the place where you deleted the two digits.

5. Close the window

6. Go to start and press run, again.

7. Write “%systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a” and press enter

8. Wait for a window to open and select the 2nd choice.

9. Press change product key.

10. Write “RYHTT-XKFKB-8KXFW-3K9FK-RWWX3

11.Press update and close the window.

12. Now you are able to install internet explorer 7.

I just checked to see if mine was geniune. It said it was not, which is weird since the windows OS came with this laptop.

The MS link he gave seems to go directly to the error page. I think you have to go here, in IE, and install an ActiveX plugin for validation:

http://www.microsoft.com/resources/h...s/default.mspx

Didn't try it though...

To check that your site looks correct in IE7.
MS say that IE7 uses a different core engine than IE6 and that some sites may be broken in IE7.
Unfortunatly around 90% of surfers still use IE for browsing the web and with going to set IE7 to automatically download to Windows PC with automatic updates set IE will eventually overtake IE6 as the most popular web browser.
