Router question!
Hey guys I got a small question.
I see some unsecured routers in my area, when I try to connect to it, it works, and if I try to load a webpage, it asks for a username and password instead, with some information on the company or something like that, any ideas how'd I'd be able to setup something like that? |
find out what the router brand is, then check this list:

Its a feature of the wifi router.. Not all brands have this..

Here, we can access the net thru Bell Canada router ( power required, no phone line ) across most of downtown. Requires u/p |
SO what kind of routers allow this feature?
Any idea what it's called? |

Ok I read up abit on what I wanna do, it's basically setting up a hotspot and give certain people a username and password... so once they are authenticated then they can surf the net
