Rumsfeld Steps Down

President Bush announced today that Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, architect of an unpopular war in Iraq, is stepping down. Bush said: "[Rumsfeld] appreciates the value of bringing in a fresh perspective during a critical period in this war."

yeah heard it awhile ago, thank god for him stepping down.

This is such great news. Instead of dems having to worry about forcing him out, he's leaving on his own. Kudos!

Yeah right he totally messed up and now he let somebody else clean his mess fuck that.. I dissagree he should clean his own mess and then step down
