I agree. She's hot from the neck down but her face doesn't do it for me. And the lighting or touch ups are a bit too much. Why does she need to be airbrushed or lighted so much?

-I'm not a "reality" shooter. It's not my purpose to record "reality". My work is fantasy! My job as I see it is to flatter the girl and make her look as beautiful as I can thru hair/makeup, lighting, posing, wardrobe and then with the finishing of the pictures (color correcting, enhancing, retouching etc). I don't claim to be the best at what I do but I must say that I've been very successful at it. And not to brag...but I'm constantly turning away business and fielding offers from MAJOR COMPANIES to come to work with them. Obviously, there are some people out there who like my lighting and my touch ups - imagine that :winkwink:

-The amount of retouching that I do to a pic is based on what I think needs to be done to make the girl look as beautiful as possible. Some people think I do to much and some people don't. I can't please everyone. I just do what I do and so far it's been great for me.

10 people will give you 10 different opinions about how much retouching should be done to a pic. Who is right? Who is wrong? I wish you people would get off my ass about the retouching. It's obvious that you have absolutely no clue about what your talking about. :thumbsup

First of all - her whole body is not touched up. Maybe it's hard for some people to imagine that there are actually girls out there with beautiful "flawless" bodies. And, Jaime just happens to be one of those kinds of girls :pimp

Secondly, maybe it's not your fantasy - but it is someone elses. Your opinion is not the only opinion that counts. You don't like her face? Someone else does. You don't like the lighting? Someone else does. You don't like the touch ups? Someone else does. Should your opinion count more then someone elses? Should I change my lighting around and alter my touch up skills to please you instead of trying to please the people who pay me? That's all I'm saying....

Well, my point to all this was that telling me that a girls face doesn't "do it for you" is pointless. I don't pick the models that I shoot based on what "does it for you". I pick them based on what "does it" for the company that I shoot for and their members. If you happen to like what I do - that's great. If you don't - that's great as well.

People want to put down my retouching skills? That's fine! I'm not really a retouch expert - I'm just a guy with a camera trying to make the girls look as beautiful as possible. 95% of the people here dig what I'm doing and the other 5% are into something different and I'm cool with that!

I find it hilariously funny when people want to call me out on my work and try to pressure me into posting some raw pictures. It's like - do they really expect me to stop what I'm doing to upload some raw pictures to prove something to them? Noooooo, say it ain't so :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Would you like to see the raw pics from Playboy? Penthouse? Hustler? Would you like to see the raw footage that runs thru Steven Spielberg's camera when he is shooting a movie? Not that I'm on the level of any of those but the point is that you only get to see the finished product and that's the way it's supposed to be....and that's the way it will be :pimp

LOL I did not mean to offend you or give the impression that your work wasn't up to par. You do a great job with the girls. I was just saying girls are beautiful because they are girls. Let them be girls, don't mask them.

Pinkeeeeeee - I wish it was that easy! Some girls are not as beautiful as other girls. My job is to try to make them "all" beautiful. To some people I do a good job with that and to other people I don't. I can't please everyone so I just try to do my best. Even the best looking girls in the industry can benefit from some subtle "enhancing" while other girls need more "corrective" type work. All of the photographers that I study, that I respect and that I try to emulate with my work...all agree with me on this.

My final product is very different then say...Steve Lightspeeds work. Not to belittle what Steve does (he does a great job)....it's just that our markets are completely different. He can get away with publishing his pictures right out of the camera - I cannot. Fans of my work want to see flawlessly beautiful heavenly creatures and that's what I try to give them. It costs a lot of money to produce this type of product but we (Twistys) have a wonderful membership that loves and appreciates the work that we put into giving them these types of pictures. People who dont' like what we do are free to buy memberships to other websites that feature more "reality" type material. Pictures that arn't retouched or enhanced. That's simply not our market though :thumbsup
