New Planets in the Solar System
"The tally of planets in our solar system would jump instantly to a dozen under a highly controversial new definition proposed by the International Astronomical Union.
Eventually, there would be hundreds of planets, as more round objects are found beyond Neptune." Full Story Here I think the new planets got robbed ... dumb names if you ask me. |

When people come up with this shit they have to be smoking something. There is no other way, expect to saythey these fucks have never been laid. I love sience, but this is nuts.

But Uranus still does bring a giggle everytime one says it. ; ) |
I don't think any of those objects shuld be considered planets.
Just because they have sufficient mass to create enough gravity and become circular over time doesn't change the fact the objects are in the kuiper belt, or closer to it than the sun...it would be better to just define any object within that belt not a planet within the solar system proper but rather a "pluton" or something similar. I vote to rename "Uranus" to your "YourButthole", that way there will be no more confusion.
