Netsol holds domain hostage

On May 15th I bought 4 domains with Netsol (company I used since 1996). All three came thru fine except one. I kept reloading the page figuring it didn't hit. To no prevail!

I called Netsol right a way and they informed me that somebody bought the domain. Well yeahhh I did! They told me I had to call back in 2 days and they would check into it.

For the past 3 weeks I have now called Netsol almost on a daily basis. At one time the guy told me my Service ticket was closed and they had to re-open another service ticket. Well guess what. I just called and nada NOTHING... They don't know, they have no idea, their tech is going to look into it.. blah blah blah..

Help what can I do! I am sooooooo frustrated, the domain name shows as sold with Netsol as registrar now instead of me. It is not showing up in my account manager and I already paid for it and it was deducted out of my account.

I also paid for 2 domains to have the Registran Name changed into my now LLC company. They told me 4-7 days. It was also done on May 15th and they now telling me they are so backlogged it will take another 2 weeks

I am really upset I want my fucking domain... and I am rendered totally helpless with these jerks. Anybody knows a good registrar where I can move my 100+ domains and won't jerk me around.

www.bulkregister.com Very good service.

www.dotregistrar.com has always treated me right, after hundreds of registrations, transfers, and even returns (yes, you have 3 days to "return" the domain back to the pool and have the fees refunded - NOBODY else allows this!) they're definitely my favorite. Cheap prices and everything is done with domain credits.

Two thumbs up! :thumbsup :thumbsup

Have no ideal what you paid..... all I know is you get what you pay for....

They were great.... emails... answered all .... I think you can even bank money with them.... and use it at a later date...:thumbsup

although it won't help much, if you have been charged for the transaction you should do the following (just to make sure you protect yourself)

Sit down
Calm down
write Netsol a very detailed letter

example:

Dear Shithead at NetSol:

My name is blah blah blah.

On X date I logged onto Netsol and registered X name.

I was charged for the registration on X credit card. I have confirmed with my credit card company that the transaction was completed, and that Netsol has accepted payment for the registration. (insert as much detail as possible)

I checked back with NetSol after I registered the name, and the name was not shown as registered in my name. (be as detailed as possible)

Please investigate and correct this matter to ensure that the domain name is registered in my name as follows:

(insert information)

All rights available by law are specifically reserved herein.

Sincerely,

Go Fuck Yourself.

That is just an example. An alternative is to get them on the phone, and insist to speak with a supervisor in their billing department. The will give you a huge fucking run around and try not to let you speak to anyone. Don't let them. Insist that you speak to a supervisor or manager or someone superior to the floor flunkey that answers the phone.

If you can actually get someone on the phone who sounds like they know what they are talking about, explain, CALMLY, what happened. Don't be angry. Don't be a dick or a bitch. Be cool with them. It will be much easier to work with them than against them. Whatever you do, make sure they explain, in detail, exactly what happened step by step. They keep detailed records of all transactions, so don't let them bullshit you that the information is not available. Trust me, they will try to give you the run around.

If you still cannot get results, and you have been charged on your credit card for the domain name, write an extremely detailed letter to your credit card company and ask them to investigate the charge as fraud complaint against NetSol. That is an extreme measure which I do not advocate, but it is an option sitting out there.

Hope that helps. Its not full proof, and they are a pain in the ass. Just don't get too frustrated. Step back, take a deep breath, and then take the next steps forward decisively.

The letter is a great idea, I am going to write it today. When I have talked to Netsol I work under the prinicipal NOT to shoot the messenger and I am always pretty nice.

However today I demanded to speak with somebody above the phone - girl and they told me nobody is available. I told them that I would hold. They told me their is nobody but her there. Than I got a bit upset.. I told her "I just don't believe you have no supervisor or accounting department, there is just no way!" She told me that she will write me another ticket and basically ended the conversation.

This is really upsetting to me. Unfortunatly the domain I bought is for a local Newspaper we are starting for the area we live in. Like a news-bulletin and we really wanted to get it up and advertise it June 1st because school has let out around here and it has lots of stuff on it for kids to do during the summer.
