So A Well Known Program Rep Just FULLY Plaguarised Some Of My Shit ...

This could be VERY interesting.

A chance to provide proof positive that I am not one to EVER be fucked with.

Benefit of the doubt applies before retribution applied full effect.

Make haste slowly when you intend crucifiction as net result.

I do not bluff nor fuck around when someone crosses me.

This one will have bricks tied around his neck to help him along his way if reparations are not made and VERY soon.

Whatever man.. I've been using "CLICK HERE" for years now.

TheLegacy 05-21-2006 07:42 AM

I've been plagiarized so many times over the years - some were by mistake (yes sometimes people forget where they heard it) others intentionally (hoping that others wont put two and two together) = yet can you remember without google who said first - "imitation is the best form of flattery" ?

Take it as a compliment that someone at least read your article and felt it worthwhile to use - but - take it up with the rep personally if it is upsetting you that much and have them recant or write another article with you in the spotlight - that seems to be the more professional way of handling it.

Juilan 05-21-2006 07:54 AM

I think this is an excellent opportunity to create a win-win deal.

Make sure the rep knows he owes you big time, then the collection can be profitable and you make a new ally in the process.

I love the idea of taking a negative and making a positive out of it.

It would be different if:

1. I didn't personally know the guy (if he asked I would have said use the whole damn thing) and have spent time with him VERY recently.

2. He at least didn't pretend it was an original, fixed the typos and didn't substitue my programs for those he resp as the ONLY change- it was a goddamn cut and paste for chrissake !!

3. He wasn't a program rep - nice for the trust levels ain't it !!!

4. He wasn't stupid enough to take it from one board where it is VERY well known to another.

Professional ?

Scammers and con's exist in this business because they have been allowed to. I cut off the snakes head because I can.

Fair enough Matt.

And why I have not outed him already - whioch would probably cost him his job I may well add.

If this thread is not a clear message - nothing is - and that's why it is here :winkwink:

If he is too stupid to pick up on this and/or the subtle posts on other boards more fool him and he deserves what I dish out.

But the benefit remains his way for the minute.

He was outed to me by THREE other people. so a quiet example was NEVER going to suffice.

I bite as I bark and like any good dog, I like people to know that when the time is appropriate.

Like I said, if people fronted and crucified scammers at their early attempts more often in the past we would have less of it today.

Fuck off moron. I do not fake drama. I am simply giving the offender a chance to mend his errant ways.

Read the posts and you would realize that.

A form of compliment it may be, but it's an inexcusable one in my view.

What it is is theft. Plain and simple.

I'm with CBT, copycats need to be made to feel pain.

Well said. If everyone just let people get away with shit ... the madness would never end. Sometimes you need to bite back and bite even harder.

:)

baddog 05-21-2006 11:06 AM

So, how much time do you give him?

Also, there is the POV that he should be outed anyway so that others can be careful about doing biz with him.

Joesho 05-21-2006 11:07 AM

I vote out the mother fucker !

WiredGuy 05-21-2006 11:27 AM

I like Matt's idea, turn the negative situation into a way to make a profit off of it. Make sure the program owner actually knows about this situation as well, not just the rep.
WG

Tom_PM 05-21-2006 11:49 AM

It certainly wasn't me. I dont know you personally, and have not written any articles recently.

I think a private threat of outting on boards would have been just as, or more effective to be honest. And it would not have cast possible doubt in peoples minds about their program reps honesty.

I will be ensuring that the program owner is all over it Charles, bank on that.

But I still retain some small faith that he will do the right thing sometime before end of Monday US time.
