New Program : NATS vs CCBILL

I am starting up a new affiliate program with 7 sites and since we don't have a huge budget yet i am thinking of starting with just CCBILL to do the billing, stats, payouts and then to upgrade to NATS later on.

My question is, do webmasters these days not even take your program seriously unless you use NATS or MPA3?

Will going strictly CCBILL hold me back from gaining webmasters to promote my stuff?

Thanks

For me CCBILL

dial 05-17-2006 01:10 PM

I don't touch programs that use CCBILL....my clicks never add up and they scrub entirely too hard

munki 05-17-2006 01:11 PM

CCBill can be okay, but most programs that use them heavily code around the CCBill cookie's to give the wms a little more security with thier traffic.

I hate promoting a CCbill program. Bad tracking, often no backup processor, etc. This makes for 20-30% less sales

Go with NATS or don't go at all :)

NATS with 2 processors

Nardimus 05-17-2006 01:41 PM

Sounds like nats is worth the investment.

which processors do you guys recommend going with when using NATS? CCBILL and Paycom?

kaktuz 05-17-2006 01:42 PM

i dont like ccbill at all ;< it sux

Nardimus 05-17-2006 01:43 PM

also with NATS, would we have to send out payments to webmasters ourselves? Are there any companies that would do this for you?

MarkMan 05-17-2006 01:44 PM

as an affilate of many sites. i will tell you i preffer the once using NATS.. it also has great setup for Hosted gallerys and exporting the urls.. sites that don't use nats drive me nuz.. and some i just don't use .. becouse its too diffecult to deal with them

xlogger 05-17-2006 01:46 PM

I was woundering about this as well.

Cant you like have nats and then let cbill cut the checks, is that possible?

PornAddict 05-17-2006 01:50 PM

In the long run, you have more options to work with if you use NATS. They're also priced affordably for start-up companies so budgeting shouldn't be a big problem. I'd say go with them now... since you're planning on doing it in the future anyway, might as well just save yourself the time and your affiliates the hassle.

I did enjoy having CCBill cut the checks though.

Yes this is a good question about affiliate check processing. That's the one thing that makes me hesitant about starting with NATS instead of just using CCBill.

Hmm i don't see how that makes any sense. If a program runs with NATS what do you think they process with in the back? NATS?

Manowar 05-17-2006 02:22 PM

go with nats

shuki 05-17-2006 02:27 PM

Nats :thumbsup

Greg MissionD 05-17-2006 02:27 PM

Go with NATS, with the cascading billing options your also make more joins.
There are other tools within nats that will also help you bring in more joins or mail out special offers to get members that cancel back for you and your affiliates.

NATS baby :thumbsup

madawgz 05-17-2006 04:54 PM

sometimes peoples credit cards get declined on ccbill but approved with paycom

bigdog 05-18-2006 04:35 AM

Getting nats and and cascading between ccbill and paycom would be your best option. You are just leaving money on the table if you aren't doing it

jerzeemedia 05-18-2006 04:37 AM

NATs all the way

xclusive 05-18-2006 04:38 AM

Nats is more than worth it.

DutchTeenCash 05-18-2006 04:39 AM

most do ccbill first then hop to nats, the epass/checks issue is troublesome but there are companies who do that just search

only that you can't do cascade billing with ccbill.

Do you have any contact info? I would like to chat with you :)

I love ccbill! If I had 10 sites + and a few people working for me, I would consider nats or stuff like that. But for now, ccbill rock! Stats are great and signup-ratios are very good! :)

Nardimus,

My company specializes in Affiliate Payouts for companies using NATS or any other affiliate software. We offer check, ePassporte, Fund2Go, International and Domestic payout methods.

I'd love to discuss this further with you if you decide to go with NATS or just have any questions about our services.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
