So I'm watching trainspotting ~ and I'm wondering how it would be like to get high on hard drugs. No worries, I am not going to try it, I am just curious about other people's experiences.

Anyone ever do LSD? I did some one summer in highschool, well more then some. Would recommend against trying it though as it is a dirty drug. I would never try that heroin shit that they use in trainspotting.

I used to many hard drugs in my life so I don't fuck with them anymore. Ounce I shot three quarters of a gram of crank and I thought I was going to die. Thats a $75 dose.

I had taken massive amounts of LSD.
About two years ago I was with a friend we had a vial of LSD with about 87 hits left in it. We where driving around looking for some party (just stupid now that I think about it). Anyway for some reason we got pulled over, I had a open bottle and threw it out the window the cop seen this and went to the passenger side od the car first and got me out and was dealing with me first, while he was busy with me, my buddy who was obviously afraid ate the remaining 87 hits so he wouldn't get caught, The cop took him to jail for DWI, I quess when the LSD kicked in he freaked out. He has been in the state hospitial ever since.
I have had nothing but bad things happen because of drugs, and I stay away from them now.

LSD is pretty safe in small doses. As a matter of fact, one of my college professors wrote a book on the effects of drug in the brain. He told me in private that LSD, in small doses, is one of the safer illegal drugs.

LSD is actually a very interesting drug to experiment with. If you take enough, you will experience strong visual and audial hallucinations. A number of years ago, I took some LSD "gel tabs" and had massive hallucinations. I saw tatoos swimming around on a guy's body. Someone dropped some water and I saw it turn into a "water snake" and slither away.
If your brain can fabricate such things, it is interesting to speculate what schizophrenics, etc. are seeing and why. There is some evidence, I believe, that hallucinating schizophrenics experience long-term the same chemical changes in the brain that someone that takes LSD experiences short-term.

Interestingly, there is now an LSD antitode; an injection that causes the blockage of serotonin 2 receptors.

There is a plant called Salvia Divinorum that is a hallucinogen found in Mexico. It is not yet illegal in the United States and most other countries. (It is illegal in Australia). I have never tried it but it is available for sale on the internet. There is an article at ABC news about it and you can find it for sale on the internet quite easily. You can have it safely shipped to your house.

And .. word of advice. If you've heard a drug is addicting, don't even try it.

Cocaine, crack, heroin, "oxys". Bad mojo. Many people can try these things many times and never get addicted. A few seem very susceptible and start down a path of dependence and addiction quite quickly. It seems to be related to the amount of pleasure people experience from it. I've tried cocaine a few times, for example, and it did less for me than a few cups of coffee. I never experienced the same high I've seen others get from it.

I've seen people with seriously bad addictions and it is quite scary the behaviors that are associated with such addiction.

Doing drugs makes Jesus cry, its much better to just watch hardcore porn.

MDMA I like Coke didn't do shit to me besides a bad taste in my
mouth. I have a very high tolerance with Drugs for some strange
reason....180Mg MDMA can knock out horse I used to take 3 else
it would have no effect at all....normally it lasts for 4 hours. After
1 hour I was completely back to normal including my pupils.

I have heard that doing ANY amount of LSD can affect you 10-15 years down the road and cause you to have mood swings irritability etc.

Did LSD watching/listening Hendrix at the Isle of Wight pop festival. Awesome, I was floating over the crowd rising and falling as he played. And at a Pink Floyd concert, don't remember much about that one.

I remember about 8 years ago back in highschool i smoked out this one friend from townside...we we're up on this huge mountain called 'Tauntilaus Heights'
Anyway it was MAUI WOWIES and we smoked two philly blunts in his acura integra... Next thing you know he and i are blasted and walking on the moon already...He tells me to get out and watch him bust a Drift in his car (going downhill - there are no railings on this hill) He goes up hill then turns around and flys it downhill at about 70...My friend and i are laughing at this idiot . He passes us and busts his ebreak while turning.....He lost control and went off the mountain skidding about 300 feet down or so.. His car was FUCKED we thought he was dead...We drove down nearby his crash and he was outside of his car laughing........

I had a very good friend in high school (60's) who partook of a little lsd and decided he could fly off of the roof of his 5 story apartment bldg.
pretty well sums up my thoughts about it.

Not as long as the tobacco industry keeps paying the big bucks to the lawmakers.

It's way less harmful than tobacco, but much easier to grow and they don't like that idea. Even though they would definitely sell it by the pack.. and are more than likely hoarding it just waiting for the day that it becomes legal, they'd lose big bucks from everyone growing their own...

Me and some friends did some once back then..... We decided to go to this bar.... And I was driving..... to get to thie bar I had to drive across this bridge.... well after 5 try's someone else had to take over the wheel... I turned around in the middle of the bridge 3 times.... No fucking way was I going to drive across that thing'ie.

That really depends on what hard drug you are on ...

Some people are weak and get addict to drugs or can't handle them. For those with strong minds we have a good time and walk away from it. All drugs are sterotyped bad because of all the people who let them destroy their lives.
If you think you understand what a drug is about by reading a book, then you are mistaken, hell I can read the back of a bottle of aspiren and it's going to make me think I'm going to die.

Seriously, there are some drugs that are pretty cool...Like speed. It gets you working 23 hours a day for almost a week... and it makes you plenty of cash :thumbsup

I was using that before. But the drugs like cocaine are just plain useless.
