Ahh the good ol days of experimental drug use.

Bennies --- someone touches your hair, electric little shocks flow through you for a few seconds. Amazing feeling. Effects get warped with alcohol, interesting @ work too. Cool names for the pills too.... bathtubs, black beauties, yellow-jackets, etc

Pot --- Tried too many varieties to mention. Once did some black African hash-oil which unbeknownst to me was laced with pcp, I flew through time for 4 hours on the office floor of my brother's gym, I was 19 at the time. (I'm 39 now)

Shrooms -- did them a few times, had a bad experience one night on them and then stayed away from them. But one of those times I sat up with my idiot nephew all night and laughed at each other's faces for like 5 hours.

Acid --- Never did any, ever. But I've partied with a lot of people that have, and I have a few good acid stories saved up over the years.

Coke --- not the drink :) I did coke only twice. The first time was just to try it out, you know, to find out what all the fuggin fuss is about. A bunch of us did some lines (with a 100 dollar bill of course) and went out to a huge rock club for the evening, this was about 10-11 years back. The effect was interesting. I remember having numb teeth, and I kept tapping my teeth with my finger all night. I did it again 6 months later, just to "refresh" my memory of it. I could definitely see why some people get addicted to coke, it put's you in "the zone" for the evening, you can drink more booze, look better when dancing, pick up more chicks etc etc. But it wasn't for me.

There's more, but it was all pretty much very sporadic use at best, done just to try it out or to get a weekend high from time to time. Never been a regular user of anything, nor have I ever been addicted to anything in my life. Well, the gambling bug bit me pretty hard about 7 years ago, but I kicked that one too. I'm not an addiction kind of guy.

The first statement is only true in the US. I live in the UK.

The second statement is closer to the truth all over the world. Governments don't like anything they can't control. Therefore the answer is to turn control of Marijuana over to the gov'ts. It works in Holland and fortunately the rest of Europe is moving in the right direction.
